Business Development Executive

Overview

We are seeking an Azure Solutions Lead who will be responsible for managing and maintaining the overall architecture, design, application management and migrations, security of growing Cloud Infrastructure that supports the company’s core business and infrastructure systems and services. In this role, you will protect our critical information, systems, and assets, build new solutions, implement, and configure new applications and hardware, provide training, and optimize/monitor cloud systems. You must be passionate about applying technical skills that create operational efficiencies and offer solutions to support business operations and strategy roadmap.

Responsibilities:

• Works in tandem with our Architecture, Applications and Security teams
• Identify and implement the most optimal and secure Azure cloud-based solutions for the company.
• Design and implement end-to-end Azure data solutions, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization.
• Architect data platforms using Azure services such as Azure Data Fabric, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (ADB), Azure SQL Database, and One Lake etc.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data movement and transformation.
• Design data models and schemas to support business requirements and analytical insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data engineering team.
• Stay updated on emerging Azure technologies and best practices in data architecture.
• Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as available to help keep the environment operating at it optimum while minimizing waste and maximizing investment.
• Create and update the documentation to facilitate cross-training and troubleshooting
• Work with the Security and Architecture teams to refine and deploy security best practices to identify, detect, protect, respond, and recover from threats to assets and information.

Qualifications:

• Overall 7+ years of IT Experience & minimum 2 years as an Azure Data Lead
• Strong expertise in all aspects of Azure services with a focus on data engineering & BI reporting.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Data Factory, Azure Databricks (ADB), SQL, NoSQL, PySpark, Power BI and other Azure data tools.
• Experience in data modelling, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and robust data solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with strong teamwork, analytical and troubleshooting skills, and attentiveness to detail.
• Self-starter, ability to work independently and within a team.

Work directly with the founder on high-priority, cross-functional problems across product, growth, operations, and strategy. This is not a passive or research-only internship. You will ship features, run experiments, automate workflows, and execute ideas quickly.

You will operate as a generalist and take ownership of projects end-to-end.

Job Responsibilities:

• Code emails in Emarsys ESP environment using HTML and Emarsys tags.
• Integrate models from DS team using Emarsys and Snowflake data connections.
• Use JIRA to manage email development tickets.
• Dedicated PM to manage partnership between developers and BN email team, providing status updates of all projects. This person is the POC for all project discussions and help.
• Development needs - average of 9 emails/per week over the year.
• Ability to pick up and edit pre-built legacy emails and build email from scratch using creative Figma files.
• QA media prior to sharing to reduce errors in layouts, copy and links

Essential requirements

● A minimum of 1-6 years of experience in the EdTech industry business-to-consumer

(B2C) sales.

● Demonstrating excellent proficiency in both verbal and written English

communication is essential, knowing regional languages will be the cherry on the

cake.

● Having basic knowledge or preliminary experience with Customer Relationship

Management (CRM) systems is preferred.

• Design and plan how test automation will be used within the company, you will then need to execute the plan.
• Test simple to moderately complex application components based on functional requirements in production and dev environments.

• 4-year experience using selenium
• Minimum 1 year of experience in database testing with the ability to understand, write and execute SQL queries.
• A good understanding of software fundamentals including software design, algorithm development, data structures, code modularity, and maintainability.
• Ability to understand and approach projects in a logical and systematic manner so testing is detailed, thorough, and accurate.
• Experience with scripting experience is nice-to-have.
• Ability to communicate well and comfort in working with multiple internal and external teams.

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/related field or relevant work experience
• Minimum 3 years of software testing experience through a full system development life cycle, including implementing test plans, test cases, and test procedures
• Ability to teach yourself new technologies, processes, and products at a fast pace.

• BE/B.tech Computer science or related degree.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is highly desired
• 4+ years of experience programming on the Salesforce platform
• Deep understanding of the Salesforce.com product suite including Sales Cloud, Platform and the App Exchange
• Extensive development experience with Apex Classes, Triggers, Visual-force, Lightning, Batch Apex, SOQL, Salesforce API's and other programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform
• Firm understanding of advanced design patterns and engineering best practices
• Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
• Background in development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product life-cycle
• An effective communicator that works well in a collaborative team setting
• Natural problem solver who enjoys identifying ways to improve our customer's overall experience
• Prior experience in SaaS or subscription-based companies is a plus
• Familiar with integration applications such as Boomi, Informatica and Mulesoft preferred
