About the Role
Responsible for overseeing an existing customer base and a new sales territory, and discovering
new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers,
partnerships, products, and services, or new ways of reaching existing markets.
Job Responsibilities:
● Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
● Conduct research to identify prospects and build on existing relationships.
● To meet sales targets at an individual and company level.
● Ensure closure of all legal, technical, and compliance-related documentation with
reference to particular accounts handled.
● Keep records of sales, revenue, and invoices, and help the finance team in the collection
of invoices wherever payment is due.
● Develop and guide entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
Requirements:
● Must have proven working experience as a Business Development resource.
● Proven sales track record with target achievements.
● Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint
● Ability to build rapport and have good negotiation skills.
● Time management, planning, and multitasking
● Have an obsession with being data-driven, highly analytical, should be a structured
thinker
● Sales experience in SAAS is preferred.
