Business Development Executive

Role Description

The core sales executive in a freight brokerage company plays a vital role in supporting the sales and logistics operations. This position bridges the gap between account executives, operations, customers, and carrier partners. The coordinator is responsible for managing customer inquiries, assisting with freight quotes, preparing sales documentation, and ensuring smooth coordination of freight movement. The goal is to provide excellent customer service, maintain organized communication, and support the sales team in achieving revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support freight brokers and sales executives with day-to-day sales activities.
• Assist with quoting, order entry, and coordinating shipments with carriers and customers.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and internal teams.
• Communicate with carriers to confirm availability, rates, and transit times.
• Prepare documents such as rate confirmations, bills of lading (BOL), and shipment schedules.
• Help generate and maintain reports on sales performance, customer activity, and KPIs.
• Provide high-level customer service and resolve issues or delays proactively.
• Coordinate with accounting for billing and invoice reconciliation related to sales.
• Maintain organized records of quotes, contracts, and shipment history.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in an ed tech, telesales, logistics transportation, or freight brokerage environment preferred.
• Familiarity with freight types (LTL, FTL, and intermodal) and logistics terms is a plus.

• Strong proficiency in React Native and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Redux, Context API, or other state management tools.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and strong understanding of mobile app architecture.
• Knowledge of native build tools like Xcode and Android Studio.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in implementing pixel-perfect designs and animations.
• Proficiency in using libraries like React Navigation, NativeBase, or Material-UI.
• Experience with testing libraries like Jest, Detox, or Appium.
• Strong debugging skills using tools like Chrome DevTools, Flipper, or similar.
• Experience deploying apps to the App Store and Google Play Store, including managing certificates and provisioning profiles

Sr Enterprise Software Architect with Cloud skills and preferably having either a GCP Associate or Professional Certification.

The requirement is to understand existing Enterprise Applications and help design a solution to enable Load balancing & Auto Scaling the application to meet certain KPIs.

4. Experience deploying cloud applications and monitoring operations
5. Preferably Google Cloud
6. Associate or Professional Certification.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, estimation, requirement analysis, database designing, wireframing, layout design of the assigned project and other ongoing projects in a team with Project Manager / Developer / Designer.
• Handling coding works or major/complex parts of assigned projects and providing coding help and supervision to team members.
• Maintaining and auditing code/design quality as per set guidelines and standards in assigned projects.
• Testing of completed tasks in ongoing projects in the team before sending updates to reporting authority/client.
• Remove the technical impediments
• Focusing the team to ensure the on-time delivery of the agreed task.
• Reporting progress to the Project Manager.
• Facilitating code/design reuse.
• Training and mentoring of team members.
• Maintaining the skill set matrix of the team.
• Building and maintaining PWA.
• Work closely with the product team to accelerate A/B testing and maximize engagement.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, Jquery.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript MVC architecture and OOP programming style.
• Good understanding and experience of working on Vue.js/React.js.
