Vidyakul is looking for a Senior Android Developer to take our product to the next level for Pan India State Board students (A 60mn user opportunity!). We are willing to offer the right pay, and more importantly the right ESOPs for the right candidate! 

* Knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services

* Should have hands-on knowledge of Kotlin
* Should have the understanding of working on Firebase & Firebase real-time database
* Experience with third-party libraries like Retrofit2 and APIs
* Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

What will you do? –

• Developing high quality native mobile experiences for our products – with a focus on UI/UX, simplifying complex use cases so that a non-expert can succeed
• Experience with Flutter.
• Knowledge of the latest mobile app development concepts, trends, software design patterns, usability, and HCI guidelines for mobile apps.
• Practical experience in consuming RESTful APIs

 

About the Job –

• 2+ years in mobile software development.
• Have two or more iOS/Android apps developed with Flutter. Either deployed on the AppStore/Google Play or available on GitHub.
• Design and build sophisticated and highly scalable apps using Flutter.
• Build custom packages in Flutter using the functionalities and APIs already available in native Android and IOS.
• Translate and build the designs and Wireframes into high quality responsive UI code.
• Explore feasible architectures for implementing new features.
• Resolve any problems existing in the system and suggest and add new features in the complete system.
• Suggest space and time efficient Data Structures.
• Follow the best practices while developing the app and keeping everything structured and well documented.
• Use CI/CD for smooth deployment.
• Document the project and code efficiently.
• Manage the code and project on Git to keep in sync with other team members and managers.
• Ensure security guidelines are always followed while developing the app.
• Consulting with our customer facing representatives about software system design and maintenance.

Experience in Web site development (Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML), Word Press, Angular.js, Web Services, Build, deploy and release management is an added advantage. Experience with SOAP, REST Web services and integration, DB Calls, Social enterprise integration, forums, geo location, geo fencing, payment integration, e-commerce integration. Translating designs, wire frames, fidelity diagrams into actual mobile apps using code. Performance tuning, optimization techniques, quality standards, industry best practices. Self-motivator, facilitator, and capable of executing and managing entire App Development process (End to End). Good communication and interpersonal skills, pleasant personality and professional mindset.
