Position description:

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. 
• Along with Hands-on development will lead the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. 
• Work alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin and Swift code
• Would be working on IOS platforms hands on along with Android.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Required Skills:

• 7 – 11 years of work experience of Kotlin, RxKotlin and Java
• Knowledge of different designing patterns, Preferably MVVM.
• Experience in Socket Programming and Android Jetpack Components.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes &
• Understanding of Android Porting and Build process, Android native and System app.

MaGIC Technology and Product team is looking for a data analyst to help expand and improve data on startups, investors, and founders in the ASEAN region. As part of the data team on our Startup Database product, you will assist in maintaining the accuracy of information on startups and investors, and continuously update our repository with latest publicly available data on the same. The job offers a high degree of autonomy and will also see you playing a leading role in the analysis of the dataset. As a data analyst you will: Monitor profile completeness on the system, and assist in improving profiles with additional information. Work with other teams at MaGIC to ensure that all participating startups and founders in their team programs are mapped by the dataset. Validate and moderate new profiles created on the system by founders. Write queries that surfaces duplicates, missing, and inaccurate data, and share this with the entire data team to work on. Create analytical reports. This is a contract role for 6 months based in Cyberjaya.
