Role Overview:

We are hiring Area Sales Managers to expand our franchise network for Medicine for leading generic medicine company. The ideal candidate should be proactive, driven, and passionate about fieldwork and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect Identification Targeting: Identify and approach suitable individuals such as: Insurance agents and Development Officers (DOs), FMCG distributors and dealers, Teachers and professors, Cable operators, Jewellery shop owners, other business-minded individuals with local influence and community reach.
• Daily Sales Activity: Conduct a minimum of 10 productive meetings per day with potential franchise partners.
• Business Presentation: Effectively present the Genericart franchise model, business potential, investment details, and product benefits.
• Franchise Closure: Convert prospects into franchise partners by building trust and showcasing the value proposition.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain a strong lead funnel, follow up regularly, and ensure timely closures.
• Reporting: Share daily reports, progress updates, and market insights with the State Sales Head & management Team.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of sales, business development experience preferably in Insurance, FMCG, Pharma, Cement, Paint and all Retail, or Franchise Business.
• Strong local network and ability to influence decision makers
• Must be self-motivated, target driven and passionate about field work.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.

About the role
