Job Responsibilities:
 Prior experience in deploying scalable infrastructure on the cloud.
 Architect, design and develop web applications using Restful Services on Node.js.
 Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
 Lead code reviews to drive teams to the highest standards for Node.js web apps.
 Strong background in algorithms, data structures, database design.
 Experience in Node, Redis.
 Experience in cloud infrastructure like google app engine/AWS/Heroku etc.
 Design and create efficient RESTful endpoints for both internal and public consumption.
 Participate in regular bug fixing Intimate knowledge of Git, Github, AWS, CDNs.
 Experience with creating RESTful endpoints using the REST framework.

Lead Engineer

Company is a remote-first team, looking to scale our Open Source Feature
Flagging, Remote Config and A/B Testing product. With both SaaS and on-premises customers, we are investing into our globally distributed, low latency API and making it simple for customers to deploy on their own infrastructure via Kubernetes and OpenShift.
We are looking for a Lead Server-Side Engineer, who also enjoys working on dev-ops, infrastructure and orchestration, and can help build out our existing API and infrastructure.
We are a really small team right now, and this is our first technical hire outside of the founders, so it’s a great opportunity to be part of something that is looking to scale quickly!
We are looking for someone who loves working with:

• Python. Django Rest Framework experience would be great, but not essential! We prioritise
• quality over quantity.
• Postgres with InfluxDB, Oracle, MySQL and Redis experience a plus.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift and associated tooling.
• AWS, especially ECS, Lambda, RDS and DynamoDB. Performance and uptime are super
• important to us.
• The challenge of scaling a global, distributed API to 10,000+ requests per second.
• We have SDKs in a bunch of languages, so the more polyglot you are the better.
• If you like writing JS and React that would be awesome too.

We are a 100% remote team, currently based on the West Coast US and in Europe

• You have an overall software development experience of 4 to 10 years
• 3+ years proficiency in Java and Spring boot
• Familiar with distributed computing and frameworks such as gRPC/ protobuf
• Understands JVM metrics, Garbage collection and performance tuning
• Experience in creating high-level design(HLD) and low-level design(LLD)

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

• BE / BTech / ME / M Tech in engineering or MCA or similar relevant field.
• 2 to 17 years (Junior, Intermediate, Senior Role & we have multiple openings)of relevant hands-on experience and excellent knowledge of Java, Python, SQL, Relational Databases, DB schema or ORM technologies.
• Excellent knowledge and experience of building applications, platforms and services in Java, Python and MS SQL or at least two of them.
• 5 + years of experience of managing projects, team and stakeholders.
• Knowledge and experience of agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and make quality decisions in moderately to high ambiguous work environment.
• Previous work experience in financial services, especially, capital markets is preferred.

 

Job Description:

- We are looking for a seasoned Backend engineer to manage our web infrastructure. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience with all the skills listed below.

- Our project entails implementing our pre-approved UI, constructing our API, connecting the two, and setting up our server infrastructure.
