Key Responsibilities:

• Full stack development in modern technologies for large enterprise technology platforms and systems 
• Hands-on experience coding Microservices using Java, SpringBoot, REST API 
• Hands-on experience building UI/UX using JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular) 
• Hands-on experience using Messaging (e.g. Kafka) 
• Hands-on experience using SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g. Oracle, Cassandra, Cloud Native DBs) 
• Experience implementing Opensource frameworks such as Spring Boot, POI, Activiti, Drools 
• Experience in deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers & Kubernetes to Cloud platforms 
• Familiarity with design patterns and anti-patterns
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring, and other popular Open-source BPM frameworks (Activiti, etc)
• Experience building Restful services,and SOAP web services.
• Experience with XML technologies like XSLT, XSD, XML parsers, and Java-XML binding frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• 8+ years experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Integration, Documentation, and Implementation of Client/Server and web-based Multi-Tier architecture systems
• Experience in the Banking domain is an added advantage

Our Client is focused on democratizing Insurance through technology. It is a cloud-based platform connecting distributors to the Insurance Ecosystem to sell and manage Insurance programs. They are creating a middleware connecting consumers, traditional insurance institutions, intermediaries, and service partners on a single platform. Basically, give distributors the ability access to the entire Insurance ecosystem via 1 API / 1 platform.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for design, development and delivery our web-based application in an agile manner built on Java Spring Boot, React, My SQL and Mongo DB.
• You will be expected to write code on day-to-day basis while testing it on real world use cases
• You will be an independent owner of your feature on the platform.
• You will be a part of the core software development team and are expected to participate in all development cycles.
• You will be responsible for closure of business requirements end-to-end by working cross-functionally and will be expected to mentor and drive other members of the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer / Technology domain.
• 4-7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a start-up environment/ building SaaS products.
• Excellent coding skills with ability to deliver in a hyper growth phase.
• Hands on experience in JAVA and practical experience in developing and designing scalable software solutions.
• Excellent Problem-solving skills & understanding of data structures in a complex environment.
• Extensive experience in Spring, Hibernate and SpringBoot
• Experience in building REST Services
• Experience in integrating third party APIs (Payment gateways, SMS gateways, Accounting software APIs, APIs of CRM tools etc.) into web applications
• Experience in working with SQL and no SQL DBs (Preferably Mongo DB)
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker is a plus
• Knowledge of how insurance processes and past experience in working on insurance applications is a plus.

Your tech skills:-

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, positive thinking, and willingness to learn and expand existing knowledge

• Must haves - OOPS, Database & MVC 

• Experience in creating software using back-end technologies in Microsoft area: C#, .NET MVC, Entity Framework with the knowledge of SQL Server database.

• Experience integrating open source or 3rd party APIs and libraries highly desirable

• Expertise in C#, .NET 6, Web API

• Knowledge of version’s control system (GIT, TFS etc...)

1. We need strong SOL and PL/SQL skills
2. UI – any like Javascript, HTML, CSS. Oracle Apex is nice to have.
3. The candidates should have worked on live projects that have given them exposure to write code, unit test and deliver.
4. Having WebServices experience is a value add.
5. Exposure to complex enterprise applications, integrations etc would be really needed.

Job Requirements

The Software Developer must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience (either through in an internship, previous employment, or in a college project):

Role & Responsibilities

Depending on current project needs, responsibilities could entail any of the following:

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into architecture concepts and pseudocode
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code by writing clean, scalable code using Object Oriented Programming Principles (OOP) and our defined Development Standards guide
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by identifying any observed bottlenecks and bugs, and suggesting solutions / technical alternatives to mitigate and address these issues; Make recommendations and/or changes towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code, and improve/streamline processes and systems
• Support projects through entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) by participating in the requirements analysis and research gathering (R&D) process, and/or writing documentation such as technical specifications, user guides, and other forms of documentation.
• Interact with team members (end-users, testers, distributors, analysts and project/release managers) in a team-oriented fashion
• Follow software development methodologies and best practices
