We're Codebuddy. We are a product engineering services company based out of Kolkata, with an office in Pune. We work with clients from different industries on a daily basis, and so far, we have worked with 120+ clients in the span of just 5 years. 

Our team’s average age is 26 years. So, you get an idea of how young and energetic our team is, full of life and enthusiasm.

If you choose to join us, you’d be working in our team of 4 design ninjas. Our designs have helped startups to get acquired, even get through to Y-Combinator. So, you can clearly see the impact that our designs create.

What's the role?

01 You’ll get crude requirements and you translate those documents into understandable user journeys and wireframes, without breaking a sweat.

02 You craft mind-boggling user interfaces that would make even Picasso jealous.

03 You create beautiful lottie animations based on the project's needs.

04 You hand off your designs to the developers perfectly and make sure they don’t hate you.

05 You occasionally conduct user interviews and testing, because we build the products for them.

06 You also work on occasional Social Media Posters, featuring the star of Codebuddy. A few samples for your reference:

Requirements

Personality:

01:- Strong communication skills, because we appreciate a good joke, but we also need you to explain why you chose Comic Sans.

02:- We would like you to be able to work independently, with minimal supervision. We expect you to be Atma-nirbhar.

03:- We expect you to have the ability to charm the client, make the logo bigger, and even make the design a rainbow upon request.

04:- A can-do attitude, with attention to detail and a sense of humor. We like our candidates to be funny and sharp!

Technical:

01:- We know that you are going to apply anyway. But, we prefer 2+ years of UI/UX design experience.

02:- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, and Adobe CC Suite. Also, if you don’t use autolayout, this is where you close this tab.

03:- A portfolio that makes us say, "So beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow!"

04:- Experience with micro-interactions (preferably Lottie) would be just perfect 🤌🏼

• Work with product managers to find solutions to critical problems, face internal customers, and create requirements.
• Triage and fix critical issues that arise in the field that affect our core product.
• Manage git repositories, pull requests, and review code.
• Communicate properly & promptly with all stakeholders.
• Build a proof-of-concept for new products from scratch.
• Optimize, clean up, and comment on the existing codebase.

• Experience working on the Android platform
• Experienced with MVVM, Kotlin Coroutines, Room and Koin or Dagger
• Experience in designing, development and REST API Integration of Android Applications using Java or Kotlin
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Knowledge of Android APIs and platform capabilities (location-based capabilities within apps)

 Job Description:

• Develop and oversee performance marketing strategy
• Manage Ad campaigns on Facebook, Google & Marketplaces
• Create engaging content for digital platforms
• Conduct regular CRO audits and execute A/B tests
• Implement user testing for enhanced conversion rates
• Review and optimize advertising campaigns for planned ROAS/ACOS
• Identify and optimize performance marketing channels
• Manage Analytics for campaign tracking
• Troubleshoot campaign-related issues
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

• 3-4 years of proven Performance Marketing experience
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and analytics
• Strong creative skills with attention to detail
• Data-driven mindset and analytical abilities

Role and Responsibilities

• Constantly putting yourself in our user’s shoes in order to understand both the delights, and the frustrations of their product experience
• Iterate on our product suite to look for ways we can deliver more value to our customer
• Identify growth levers that can create significant improvements in our growth
• Analyze and scope new product features and initiatives with our data, marketing and engineering teams
• Run experiments and take ownership of analysis from these experiments/KPIs
• Write accessible documentation on product features and initiatives
• Work with usage data and analytics to track product rollouts and feature efficacy

Skills & Experience

• You have 2-3 years or more in consumer tech (ideally Fintech) in a product role
• You are passionate about making a social impact and want to help build a business that dramatically improves people’s lives-You constantly generate ideas about how you might improve a product
• You have significant experience on extracting and delivering consumer insights via focus groups, usability tests, surveys, behavioral data, A/B testing
• You have a strong analytical background and can dive deep into KPIs to understand how to improve them
• You are not discouraged when an idea is released and doesn’t lead to the optimum outcome, instead you will learn from it and move to the next project
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to multitask

Qualifications and Education Requirements

B.E, Any Graduation in IT

• Develop frontend components on ReactJS with Redux as state management library
• Should have good knowledge of tailwind CSS
• Must have expertise in JavaScript, ES6, React-Redux, HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Babel
• Experience with testing tools such as Jest
• Experience in web security and performance on mobile and desktop
• Familiarity with Git.
• Should be able to make mobile responsive designs
• Knowledge on PWA would be an added advantage

• Develop backend APIs on Express.js and NodeJS
• Should be good with SQL database and perform DDL,DRL,DQL,DCL on database ,preferably PostgresDb.
• Should have familarity with ORM such as sequilize.
• Knowledge on server-less architecture is good
• Experience with monitoring tools web performance and caching techniques
• Experience working in agile methodology projects
• Should have knowledge of design patterns, design practices
• Should have the ability to design and write reusable code

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Requirement gathering, analysis and grooming: Gather requirements from various stakeholders analyze product requirements and translate requirements into product specifications.
• Prepare Robust/future proof and easily scalable Design and architecture
• Shown strength and experience in one or more of the following areas: application architecture, solutions architecture, software systems architecture, and data architecture.
  
  
• Strong technical background which facilitates interaction with software development team and a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
• Mentor and guide team members technically to produce high quality output
• Work closely with geographically distributed teams and collaborate with cross team leads to define, implement and consume services/components/modules.
• To ensure timely compliance of product development cycle.

MAIN TASKS

• To Independently Specify, Design, Develop, prototype, test and verify, software modules for large size Displays, following all relevant procedure.
• To independently Develop/orient the team to develop necessary software  and test applications for testing, debugging and verification of own as well as other Designs.

• To collaborate in an international team of experienced software and hardware engineers.

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE:

• Qualified as B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Electronics Engineering / Computer Science.
• Following technical skills/Experience in:D
• NodeJS 
• Typescript 
• Angular 2 (Framework) 

• Knowledge of Agile/ Scrum/ Test Driven methodologies is a plus

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

10-12 years of post-degree relevant experience.                                                      

Mandatory: Hands on experience working with Java or Kotlin. Very strong logical skills. Good hold on operating system concepts and data structure. Experience with web services , SQL Lite , camera kit , image caching concepts, keychain , past experience working with one of the design patterns like MVC / MVVM / MVP , network check implementation.

Good to have:  Rx-Swift experience , video / image filter experience , media player usage , complex UX effects , couch-db , RealM.Knowledge of GIT management , Continuous Integration and Continuous Development practices.

Soft Skills: Strong communication skills , high spirited , eager to learn , able to perform in a high pressure environment
