Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support bookkeeping, compliance, payroll, and day-to-day financial operations using Zoho Books/ERP Next.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & Accounting Support
• Record daily financial transactions in Zoho Books / ERP Next.
• Maintain sales, purchase, expense, and journal entries with proper documentation.
• Assist in bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Ensure correct classification of expenses and income under appropriate ledger heads.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Support in processing vendor bills and employee reimbursements.
• Assist in tracking receivables and payables for timely settlements.
• Compliance & Documentation
• Help prepare data for GST, TDS, PF, and Professional Tax filings.
• Maintain statutory records and supporting documents.
• Organize invoices, agreements, challans, and compliance proofs for audit readiness.
• Payroll & HR Accounting
• Assist in salary processing and payroll data preparation.
• Maintain employee master data and payroll-related documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Basic knowledge of:
• Accounting principles
• GST & TDS fundamentals
• MS Excel & Word
• Experience with Zoho Books or ERP Next preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

What we are looking

• You must have experience in Python, including development of microservices using flask/fastapi/sanic.
• You hold knowledge of at least one Python web frameworks
• You have experience in NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• You are familiar with relational databases and unstructured data.
• You are familiar with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries.
• You have prior exposure to code versioning tools such as Git.
• You understand fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

Good to have

• Experience in cloud services such as AWS
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Understanding of the threading concepts in Python and multi-process architecture

What you'll do

• Create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and services for business use cases
• Perform unit and integration tests on developed modules

Role & Responsibilities :

• Work with a team of skilled engineers to improve the Squadcast product.
• Control what you work on, how you deliver and the roadmap of the product.
• Solve service reliability problems for teams and companies worldwide.
• Build delightful experiences and scalable, reliable systems for fellow engineers, the end users of our platform.
• Plan & develop tooling, processes and technical improvements to improve the multiple codebases.
• Work closely with the product team to plan, spec and deliver features, bugfixes and documentation.
• Work with the SRE and Customer Success teams to help customers and troubleshoot issues during our paid on-call rotations.
• Build, deploy and manage services and Backend Coding using Go/Node.

We are hiring interns for the product growth role. This is an extensive research project and would require a hustler's attitude and out of the box thinking without much hand-holding. 

Roles and responsibilities: 

- Researching community sign-up questions for various community types

- Researching engagement techniques used by community managers in their respective communities. 

- Researching platforms or standalone communities in peer-to-peer learning/upskilling space

- Working with the product team and ideating growth hacks to better the user onboarding and engagement on the LikeMinds platform. 

The duration of the internship will be a minimum of 2 months and interns will be required to work from home 6 days a week.
