About the Role

We are looking for a talented LLM & Backend Engineer to join our AI innovation team at EaseMyTrip.com and help power the next generation of intelligent travel experiences. In this role, you will lead the integration and optimization of Large Language Models (LLMs) to create conversational travel agents that can understand, recommend, and assist travelers across platforms. You will work at the intersection of backend systems, AI models, and natural language understanding, bringing smart automation to every travel interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• LLM Integration: Deploy and integrate LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Mistral) to process natural language queries and deliver personalized travel recommendations.
• Prompt Engineering & RAG: Design optimized prompts and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows to enhance contextual relevance in multi-turn conversations.
• Conversational Flow Design: Build and manage robust conversational workflows capable of handling complex travel scenarios such as booking modifications and cancellations.
• LLM Performance Optimization: Tune models and workflows to balance performance, scalability, latency, and cost across diverse environments.
• Backend Development: Develop scalable, asynchronous backend services using FastAPI or Django, with a focus on secure and efficient API architectures.
• Database & ORM Design: Design and manage data using PostgreSQL or MongoDB, and implement ORM solutions like SQLAlchemy for seamless data interaction.
• Cloud & Serverless Infrastructure: Deploy solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure using containerized and serverless tools such as Lambda and Cloud Functions.
• Model Fine-Tuning & Evaluation: Fine-tune open-source and proprietary LLMs using techniques like LoRA and PEFT, and evaluate outputs using BLEU, ROUGE, or similar metrics.
• NLP Pipeline Implementation: Develop NLP functionalities including named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and dialogue state tracking.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with AI researchers, frontend developers, and product teams to ship impactful features rapidly and iteratively.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in backend development with at least 1 year of hands-on experience working with LLMs or NLP systems.
• Programming Skills: Proficient in Python with practical exposure to asynchronous programming and frameworks like FastAPI or Django.
• LLM Ecosystem Expertise: Experience with tools and libraries such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face Transformers, and OpenAI/Anthropic APIs.
• Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and performance optimization.
• Model Engineering: Familiarity with prompt design, LLM fine-tuning (LoRA, PEFT), and evaluation metrics for language models.
• Cloud Deployment: Comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and building serverless or containerized deployments.
• NLP Understanding: Solid grasp of NLP concepts including intent detection, dialogue management, and text classification.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to translate business problems into AI-first solutions with a user-centric approach.
• Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Curiosity and Drive: Passionate about staying at the forefront of AI and using emerging technologies to build innovative travel experiences.

• 4+ years of development experience and at least 1 year of smart contract developer experience in solidity
• Solid experience in delivering resilient and secure code in Solidity
• Knowledge and experience of the test-driven development
• Very good understanding of the Blockchain technologies, especially Ethereum
• Familiar with the common Smart Contract vulnerabilities
• Solid understanding about Ethereum infrastructure, e.g. like Gnosis, TheGraph

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field

• You have prior experience as an iOS Developer

• You have a portfolio of released applications on the App Store

• You are familiar with mobile product and design lifecycles

• You have proven experience in iOS development in either Objective-C / Swift

• Experience with iOS frameworks

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate iOS applications

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (eg. Git)

• Familiarity with various testing tools

Purpose

·        The Analytics and BI Head will collaborate closely with leaders across product, sales, and marketing to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions.

·        The candidate will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing optimal processes and procedures for analytical managers and employees to create and follow.

·        The candidate will manage the processes and people responsible for correct data reporting, modeling, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but will not be restricted to:

·        Lead cross-functional projects involving advanced data modeling and analysis techniques and review insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.

·        Managing project budgets and financials, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.

·        Providing clear and concise instructions to different teams to ensure quality delivery of analysis.

·        Maintain dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.

·        Planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time.

·        Determining the need for training and talent development.

·        Recruit, train, develop and supervise managerial level employees.

·        Examine, interpret, and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing, and product teams.

·        Oversee the deliverable pipeline, including rationalization, de-duplication, and prioritization.

·        Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business across the departments and review solutions to meet these needs.

·        Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.

Technical Requirements (what)

·        Advanced knowledge of data analysis and modeling principles: KPI Tree creation, Reporting best practices, predictive analytics, statistical and ML based modeling techniques

·        Work Experience of 20+ years in analytics inclusive of 5+ years of experience of leading a team. Candidates from Insurance Industry are preferred.

·        Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.

·        Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.

·        Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and projects simultaneously.

·        The right candidate will also be proficient and experienced with the following tools/programs:

§ Experience with working on big data environments: Teradata, Aster, Hadoop.

§ Experience with testing tools such as Adobe Test & Target.

§ Experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Raw, chart.js.

§ Experience with Adobe Analytics and other analytics tools.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Big Data Engineer who have worked across the entire ETL stack. Someone who has ingested data in a batch and live stream format, transformed large volumes of daily and built Data-warehouse to store the transformed data and has integrated different visualization dashboards and applications with the data stores.    The primary focus will be on choosing optimal solutions to use for these purposes, then maintaining, implementing, and monitoring them.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and implement data solutions based on functional / non-functional business requirements.
• You would be required to code in Scala and PySpark daily on Cloud as well as on-prem infrastructure
• Build Data Models to store the data in a most optimized manner
• Identify, design, and implement process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
• Implementing the ETL process and optimal data pipeline architecture
• Monitoring performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes.
• Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
• Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
• Proactively identify potential production issues and recommend and implement solutions
• Must be able to write quality code and build secure, highly available systems.
• Create design documents that describe the functionality, capacity, architecture, and process.
• Review peer-codes and pipelines before deploying to Production for optimization issues and code standards

Skill Sets:

• Good understanding of optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and ‘big data’ technologies.
• Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles
• Experience in working with batch processing/ real-time systems using various open-source technologies like NoSQL, Spark, Pig, Hive, Apache Airflow.
• Implemented complex projects dealing with the considerable data size (PB).
• Optimization techniques (performance, scalability, monitoring, etc.)
• Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources
• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.,
• Knowledge of various ETL techniques and frameworks, such as Flume
• Experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Creation of DAGs for data engineering
• Expert at Python /Scala programming, especially for data engineering/ ETL purposes
