QA Engineer

Role: Senior QA

• Exp: 3-5 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for the e-commerce gift card product, covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing when necessary, focusing on critical paths, edge cases, and user experience.
• Bug Management: Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA or similar tools. Work with the development team to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure product quality.
• Performance Testing: Lead efforts to test the scalability and performance of the gift card platform, ensuring it can handle high volumes of transactions and users.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for eCommerce applications and products.

Perform functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing on web and mobile platforms.

Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.

Work closely with developers and business analysts/product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

Verify fixes and validate updates before deployment.

Conduct compatibility testing across multiple browsers and devices.

Ensure compliance with eCommerce industry standards and best practices.

Provide clear and concise bug reports, including steps to reproduce and expected outcomes.

Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in manual testing, preferably in an eCommerce domain.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and test cycles.

Experience in testing web and mobile applications.

Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.

Knowledge of SQL queries to validate data.

Ability to perform API testing using tools like Postman.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with e-commerce platforms and AI based products.

Knowledge of automation testing basics (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).

Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Manual Tester (Mobile & API) – 2+ Yrs Exp | Coimbatore

• Looking for passionate testers with 2+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing for mobile apps and APIs.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze system specifications

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester of a minimum 4 years

Must have knowledge in API and Selenium Automation

Must have knowledge of SQL and Linux
