Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, and microservices architecture to design and develop secure, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, SQL (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning), and a strong focus on non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as scalability, security, and reliability. Exposure to Angular or React for front-end development is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development:

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core, C#, and

microservices architecture.

Cloud Integration:

Deploy and manage applications on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and API

Gateway.

SQL Development:

Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for high-performance data access.

Caching & Performance:

Implement caching strategies (e.g., Redis) and optimize application performance for low latency and high throughput.

NFR & Security Compliance:

Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.

Implement secure coding practices and authentication/authorization mechanisms.

DevOps & CI/CD:

Integrate applications into CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using AWS tools or Jenkins.

Collaboration:

Work closely with architects, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Front-End (Good to Have):

Exposure to Angular or React for building responsive user interfaces.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 6+ years in software development with strong .NET expertise.

Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and microservices architecture.

Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (mandatory).

Strong skills in SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

Experience with caching technologies (Redis or similar).

Understanding of NFRs (performance, security, scalability) and ability to implement them.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Angular or React for front-end development.

Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

AWS certification is a plus.

• 7+ years of experience as software engineer.
• Experience in Dot.Net technologies - Asp.Net MVC, WebAPI, .NetCore
• Experience in ORM like Entity Framework /Dapper
• Experience with Object-Oriented Design and SOLID principles
• Experience with Unit Testing, Mocking and Dependency Injection frameworks
• Experience with SQL Server, NoSQL or other database technology
• Experience with software quality, testing procedures and build automation tools
• Knowledge of the Principles & Patterns of Agile Software
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot existing code and maintain existing systems.
• Ability to identity performance bottlenecks.
• Experience working with version control tools such as GIT and CI/CD tools.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

• Strong experience working as a .Net developer.
• Proficient in Microsoft .NET development using C#. Experience with web development technologies including http://asp.net/">ASP.NET, MVC, EF, HTML, JavaScript, Angular, JQuery, AJAX, and CSS.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise-grade software.
• Experience with source control management systems and deployment environments.
• Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization.
• Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories.
• Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 8-12 years’ of industry experience in programming web applications, mobile and/or large scale enterprise products
• Deep knowledge of C#, ASP, .NET, MVC, .Net core
• Deep knowledge and extensive experience working on Ruby or React and JavaScript, as required
• Experience with XML, ADO/ADO.NET, LINQ, AJAX, IIS
• Extended experience with SQL, relational and non-relational databases
• Experience in TFS and Visual Studio
• Hands on experience with SDLC and programming design patterns
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Skillful at reviewing new feature impact on an application and recognizing potential risks

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, following the software development lifecycle.
• Conducts systems analysis and makes recommendations to improve the system to achieve an outcome.
• Promotes internal best practices and coding conventions to write and execute tests for your own code, including creating comprehensive unit tests.
• Contributes to Technical Requirements Documents.
• Requests constructive feedback for designs early in the process.
• Communicates successfully with large teams and many stakeholders.
• Provides mentorship for Software Engineers and participates in interview panels to hire new Software Engineers.
• Assists in removing obstacles for the team to yield successful sprints.
• Performs peer code reviews to ensure quality of the codebase.
• Ability to decompose and delegate work to junior engineers.
• Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
