About the Role:

As a .NET Developer. The ideal candidate who has a strong foundation in .NET development, a deep understanding of Semantic Scholar, and expertise in Azure Cloud technologies is what we are looking for. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable software solutions that leverage the power of AI and cloud computing.

Responsibilities:

·       Design, develop, and implement complex .NET applications using C#.

·       Integrate Semantic Scholar APIs and knowledge graphs into software solutions to extract valuable insights.

·       Leverage Azure Cloud services (Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage, etc.) to build scalable and resilient cloud-native applications.

·       Optimize application performance and scalability.

·       Collaborate with data scientists and researchers to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

·       Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.

·       Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in .NET, Semantic Kernal, and Azure Cloud technologies.

Required Experience:

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

·       3-5+ years of experience in .NET development with proficiency in C#.

·       Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

·       Experience with Semantic Scholar APIs and knowledge graphs.

·       Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services (Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage, etc.).

·       Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.

·       Experience with RESTful API development.

·       Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must have exp in Django. [ Mandatory]

• The ability to problem-solve and critically think.
• High level of knowledge of Python and the Django framework.
• Familiarity with event driven programming as well as the MVC.
• Good understanding of SQL databases.
• Good understanding of REST APIs.

• Hands-on working knowledge and experience is required in:

• Extensive experience working on C#, .net and .net core frameworks
• Relational Databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• NoSQL Databases (Mongo, Cloud Spanner, etc.)
• Agile Methodologies (Scrum, TDD, BDD, etc.)
• Experience working with distributed teams across regions and time zones
• Strong organizational skills
• Display detailed, critical, quality-oriented, skeptical thinking about the product

• Experience with several of the following tools/technologies is desirable:

• GIT, Jira, Jenkins, SharePoint, Visual Studio Code.
• Microservices Architecture, Domain Driver Design, Test Driven Development is a bonus
• Design Patterns and implementing the Design Patterns
• Development of Complex Application and System Architectures
• Data Structures and Algorithms using Typescript, C# and .NET
• Experience working in Google Cloud will be a big bonus as all our systems are in the Cloud
• Knowledge of REST and gRPC API’s is a bonus

• Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus:

• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Tools like GitHub, Git, etc.
• Containerization Technologies (Docker)

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and mentor developers thru coaching and sharing of knowledge
• Architecture design and Develop new functionality and critical business logic of software products
• Enhance existing applications and software products and design new product

SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge on software implementation best practices
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle database including store procedure, trigger etc.
• Knowledge of security and vulnerability best practices to design secure web application
• Knowledge of web application architecture with horizontal and vertical scalability
• Experience of working with application with large dataset of millions or billions of row in database table
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
• Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing and support
• Ability to develop large scale web/database applications
• Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly with business users and project manager
• Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces
