Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our creative team to edit and produce engaging video content that aligns with our brand and messaging.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing, including but not limited to transitions, animations, and visual effects.
• Edit and fine-tune video content to meet project requirements, including color correction, audio enhancements, and visual effects.
• Work closely with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Strong passion for video editing and a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After effects or similar).
• Knowledge of the latest trends in video editing and the ability to implement them creatively.
• Ability to use AI-generated video platforms or a willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
• Should have thorough knowledge of typography, visual styles and branding. 
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Good to have

• Good to have Knowledge in Visual design and it’s trends.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and figma is a plus.

Job Overview:

As an AI-enabled educator at Upskillist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience by leveraging artificial intelligence tools to develop engaging and effective course content. You will work collaboratively with our education and technology teams to ensure that our courses are at the forefront of educational innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize AI tools to analyze educational trends and data for content creation.
• Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.  
• Research and generate engaging content ideas for online courses.
• Write, edit, and proofread course materials, including lectures, quizzes, assignments, and supplementary resources.
• Ensure the content aligns with our educational objectives and maintains a high level of quality.
• Integrate AI technologies into curriculum design to enhance learning outcomes.
• Stay abreast of advancements in AI and educational technology for continuous improvement.
• Come up with regular process improvements mechanisms to proofread the content and ensure the content is correct across the platform

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with content authoring tools is a plus.
• Passion for education and a desire to create engaging and compelling learning experiences.
• Creativity and the ability to think critically.
• Proven experience in educational content development with a focus on AI tools.
• Familiarity with various AI platforms and their application in education.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve complex technical issues and make design decisions to meet the critical requirements of scalable, highly available, multi-tenant enablement of services in the cloud.
• Independently investigate, present options, review and implement completely new functionality OR re-architect an existing solution to meet growing needs
• You will work closely with other development teams, product management, UX, and QA to define and implement a new product offering while ensuring continued functionality.
• Work with various external (application) teams to integrate with the product and help guide the integration.
• You will implement solutions that include database schema, business logic, and some presentation layer work.
• You will use existing methods and best practices in the software industry to create features and platforms with the highest levels of security, reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Experience mentoring senior developers.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software development experience with a proven track record of making technical decisions
• 8+ years of experience in coding in more than one programming language, e.g. Python, GoLang, node.js, etc
• Intimate working understanding of modern web applications from the database to browser
• Intimate understanding of MongoDB and extensive experience with database-driven applications
• Great problem-solving skills and ability to abstract functional requirements
• Excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts
• Experience designing and improving complex software applications
• Experience coaching and mentoring developers at various levels of experience
• You have a sound understanding of programming fundamentals & their application to highly scalable web-based systems.
• You have successfully led a small agile team.
