Job Description: Teacher
Position: Teacher (Pre-Primary / Primary / Secondary – Subject Specific)
Location: Chennai (i2Global Schools – All Campuses)
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Overview
The Teacher at i2Global Schools is responsible for delivering high-quality, student-centered education aligned with the school’s academic philosophy. The role focuses on fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and holistic development while maintaining strong academic standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Learning
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum guidelines and learning outcomes.
- Use inquiry-based, experiential, and interactive teaching methodologies.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs of students.
- Integrate technology and innovative practices into classroom instruction.
2. Curriculum Implementation
- Implement the prescribed curriculum effectively across grades.
- Align lesson plans, assessments, and activities with academic benchmarks.
- Collaborate with academic leaders to ensure curriculum consistency.
3. Classroom Management
- Create a safe, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Encourage positive behavior and student participation.
- Maintain effective classroom routines and procedures.
4. Student Assessment & Reporting
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate academic records and student documentation.
- Prepare and share student progress reports with parents in a timely manner.
5. Student Development
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial or enrichment support when required.
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and independent learning.
6. Parent Engagement
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, orientations, and school events.
- Build positive school-home partnerships.
7. Professional Development
- Participate in training programs, workshops, and academic meetings.
- Engage in continuous professional growth and reflective teaching practices.
- Collaborate with peers to share best practices and innovative ideas.
8. School Culture & Compliance
- Uphold the school’s mission, vision, and values.
- Follow institutional policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Contribute positively to the overall school culture and team environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or relevant subject area.
- B.Ed / D.El.Ed / relevant teaching certification preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and student development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Job Title: Business Development Executive (Admissions)
Location: Chennai – Perungudi (On-site)
Experience: Fresher to 2 years
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Summary
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to support student admissions, increase brand visibility, and engage with parents and local communities for I2 Global School. The role involves counseling parents, handling inquiries, and supporting admission-related activities at the centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle admission inquiries through calls, walk-ins, school tours, and follow-ups
- Counsel parents on curriculum, facilities, and academic programs
- Drive admissions by converting leads into enrollments
- Support local marketing activities, events, and community outreach
- Maintain inquiry data, follow-up records, and admission reports
- Coordinate with Centre Heads and academic teams for admission events
- Track competitor activities and share market insights
- Ensure a positive and professional parent experience
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in sales, admissions, or business development
- Ability to interact confidently with parents and stakeholders
- Basic computer skills (Excel, CRM is a plus)
- Freshers with good communication skills are welcome
Preferred Background
- Education / Ed-tech / Training institute experience is an added advantage
- Inside sales, counseling, or customer-facing experience preferred
