Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies tailored to the application’s features and use cases.
• Design, write, and maintain detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts to validate application functionality & performance.
• Execute manual and automated tests, ensuring application quality and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Provide accurate testing timelines and ensure deliverables are met within the defined schedules.
• Lead end-to-end testing efforts, including integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Implement and oversee defect management processes, tracking bugs from identification through resolution.
• Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to align with industry best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members to enhance team capabilities.
• Keep the top management informed on the key metrics along with status updates on the test results and application quality.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in test planning, scenario creation, and execution for web and mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of the travel domain—including accommodations, transportation, activities, and booking systems.
• Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Mantis, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) and database testing using SQL.
• Basic knowledge of AI/ML applications and their testing nuances.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and presenting QA findings to stakeholders.
