Role Description:

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sr. Python/Cypress Automation Engineer located in Ahmedabad, India, with flexibility for some remote work. The Sr. Python/Cypress Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining a scalable automation framework for web and mobile applications. The Sr. Python/Cypress Automation Engineer will also work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, and collaborate with other QA engineers to ensure high-quality solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong proficiency in Python with excellent understanding of: Python unit testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest), web-scraping (bs4, lxml), and good-to-have modules (requests, lxml, pandas, numpy, etc.)
• Good Knowledge in testing frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Appium, and TestNG
• Experience in End-to-End testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, and API testing
• Demonstrated experience with test reporting tools such as Allure, ExtentReports, and Cucumber
• Excellent understanding of CI/CD pipeline, build automation, and deployment pipelines
• Experience in software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum and Kanban
• Expertise in SQL and other databases like DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.
• An analytical mind with keen problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Mandatory - Hands on experience in Python and PySpark.

• Build pySpark applications using Spark Dataframes in Python using Jupyter notebook and PyCharm(IDE).

Position description:

• Architecture & Design systems for Predictive analysis and writing algorithms to deal with financial data
• Must have experience on web services and APIs (REST, JSON, and similar) and creation and consumption of RESTful APIs
• Proficiently writing algorithms with Python/Pandas/Numpy; Jupyter/PyCharm
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Eg. MSSQL, MongoDB, Redshift, PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Implementing Machine Learning Models using Python/R for best performance
• Working with Time Series Data & analyzing large data sets.
• Implementing financial strategies in python and generating reports to analyze the strategy results.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Writing algorithms to deal with financial data and Implementing financial strategies in (Python, SQL) and generating reports to analyze the strategy results.

Educational qualifications preferred Degree: Bachelors degree

Required Knowledge:

• Highly skilled in SQL, Python, Pandas, Numpy, Machine Learning, Predictive Modelling, Algorithm designing, OOPS concepts
• 2 - 7 years Full-Time working experience on core SQL, Python role (Non-Support)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, equivalent or higher education.
• Writing algorithms to deal with financial data and Implementing financial strategies in (Python, SQL) and generating reports to analyze the strategy results.
