Site Engineer – Civil Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) 

Job Summary:​

The Site Engineer for MRO is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, 

and operational activities of civil infrastructure and facilities. This role supports senior 

engineers and maintenance teams to ensure that all civil works are executed efficiently, 

safely, and in compliance with relevant standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

∙Assist in the inspection and assessment of buildings, roads, drainage systems, and 

other civil structures. 

∙Prepare and maintain maintenance schedules for routine and preventive tasks. 

∙Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repair and maintenance work. 

∙Monitor and ensure the quality and safety of ongoing repair and maintenance 

activities. 

∙Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and material usage. 

∙Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for civil MRO works. 

∙Provide technical support during emergency repairs or structural failures. 

∙Support in the procurement of materials and tools required for civil maintenance. 

∙Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. 

Skills and Qualifications: 

∙Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil Engineering. 

∙2–3 years of experience in civil maintenance or construction (internships count). 

∙Familiarity with construction materials, repair techniques, and building codes. 

∙Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools. 

∙Good communication and reporting skills. 

∙Willingness to work on-site and respond to emergency repair calls.

Responsibilities:

Additional Duties:

• Contact potential clients to promote current and upcoming real estate projects.
• Generate leads through calls, meetings, and marketing initiatives.

• Maintain accurate client information in our CRM.
• Resolve client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Skills:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in real estate sales or telesales, preferably with a CP (Channel Partner) company.
• Sales Success: Ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
• Lead Conversion: Strong skills in generating leads and converting them into clients.
• Communication: Proficiency in English and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
• Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to close deals and resolve client issues.

 Marketing Assets Creation & curation: Develop and design visually appealing corporate decks,

our B2B tech solutions. Manage and maintain a library of marketing collateral, ensuring that

materials are up-to-date and readily accessible for internal and external use.

 Content Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, sales,

and in house marketing designer, to gather necessary insights, data, and technical information to

create content that resonates with our target audience.

 Visual Storytelling: Utilize your creative skills to visually represent complex technical concepts and

data in a clear and concise manner, ensuring ease of understanding for both technical and non-

technical audiences.

 Branding Consistency: Ensure all digital assets adhere to our brand identity, messaging, and style

guidelines, maintaining a consistent and cohesive brand image throughout.

 Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and customer

needs to ensure our digital assets remain relevant and effective in conveying our value proposition.

 Presentation Enhancement: Continuously explore innovative ways to enhance the visual impact of

presentations through the use of graphics, images, animations, and other multimedia elements.

 Quality Assurance: Review and proofread digital assets to maintain accuracy, grammar, and overall

Qualifications and Skills/ Experience & Expertise:

 Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.

 Proven experience 2-4 years in creating and designing corporate decks, investors decks, and

product literature for B2B SaaS /tech solutions providers.

 Proficiency in presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote) and graphic design tools (e.g.,

Adobe Creative Suite).

 Strong visual storytelling and data visualization skills.

 Excellent attention to detail and ability to adhere to brand guidelines.

 Solid understanding of B2B tech solutions and their value propositions.

 Creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics and design trends.

 Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

You will be part of the Site Reliability Engineering Team. This role involves the design, scale, performance tuning, monitoring, and administration activities on the various databases (majority on MySQL).

Your day-to-day at Egnyte:

• Build, scale, and administer a large fleet of MySQL servers spread over multiple data centers with a focus on performance, scale, and high availability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot critical performance bottlenecks for MySQL databases before it causes downtime.
• Review and assess the impact of database schema design, topology changes prior to their implementation
• Ensure that databases are secured, maintained, backed up, and highly available.
• Review stress testing results and provide recommendations to development teams
• Automate anomaly detection to surface databases with failures, IOPS, deadlocks, and other failure reasons.
• Automate management tasks, streamline processes, and perform standard administrative functions

About you:

• Understanding of MySQL’s (5.7+) underlying storage engines
• Knowledge of Performance and scalability issues with MySQL
• Strong experience with MySQL HA using Orchestrator/ProxySQL/Consul/Pacemaker
• Experience with configuration management like Puppet/Ansible
• Knowledge of limitations in MySQL and their workarounds in contrast to other popular relational databases
• Automation experience with ‘Python/Ruby/Perl’ and ‘SQL’ scripting
• Analytical skills necessary to perform troubleshooting of errors and performance issues on a large array of Mysql cluster spread over multiple data centers.

Due to the nature of the role, it would be nice if you have also:
