Position: Hardware Engineer
Office Location: Jayanagar 3rd Block, Bengaluru
Salary: ₹30000 per month (gross, including PF & PT deductions)
Experience: 4+ years in IT Hardware & Service Operations
Industry: IT Rentals & Services
Field Work: Mandatory
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Hardware Engineer who can manage service operations and client servicing. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge in IT hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, CCTV, biometrics, and other IT devices) and the ability to manage fieldwork independently.
This role involves frequent client visits (field work), troubleshooting, and ensuring timely service delivery. A good level of communication is essential – in Kannada, English, basic Hindi (preffered)– to coordinate effectively with clients and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service IT hardware devices (laptops, desktops, printers, CCTV, biometrics, and other IT equipment).
- Conduct field visits to client locations for installation, servicing, and troubleshooting.
- Report all the work and issues to service head.
- Handle client requests, service complaints, and AMC support.
- Maintain service records and provide timely updates to management.
- Monitor and manage spare parts, tools, and servicing inventory.
- Handle escalations and provide quick technical resolutions.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Graduate in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field (B.E./B.Tech preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years in IT hardware servicing.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Laptop & desktop servicing expertise.
- Knowledge of printers, CCTV, biometrics, and IT peripherals.
- Chip-level servicing knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Field Work: Willingness to travel regularly for on-site servicing.
- Communication: Kannada, English, basic Hindi
- Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, client-handling skills, and ownership mindset.

- Configuration of MS Outlook, Outlook Express & solving related problems on user systems.
- Installing & configuring different Windows based Application Software’s.
- Configuring and troubleshooting for RDP.
- Installing & configuring client system to the domain.
- Installing, Configuring, Monitoring & troubleshooting network printers & solving related problems on user systems.
- User profile management.
- Remote configuring enables the Remote Desktop on the host PC and add/enable Remote Desktop users.
- Develop system and program specifications to meet client needs
- Analyze the impact of new systems or system changes on existing technology
- Design and maintain database structures to support system requirements
- Build and configure CRM forms, views, dashboards, and workflows
- Create and maintain schema and code to support system/program requirements
- Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures
- Create and maintain appropriate user and technical documentation
- Provide client support, as needed
- Work with clients to resolve problems in a timely manner and escalate as appropriate
- Participate in company initiatives and committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
- Experience with CRM 2013/2015/2016, D365 CE modules such as Finance/Supply Chain/Sales/Marketing/Service/Field Services and CRM Portal
- Microsoft Dynamics Sales and Customer Engagement applications (CRM) product experience
- Professional CRM certification OR agree to achieve appropriate certification in an agreed-upon timeframe
- Experience implementing and customizing Dynamics CRM and Dynamics 365
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, communication skills
- The ability to handle multiple tasks, simultaneously
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge in Azure technologies like API, Azure Functions, Logic Apps development is advantageous
