The Role: Product Designer: UI
Location: Bangalore

As a UI- Designer, you’ll be responsible for crafting experiences that solve problems people struggle with every day. It’s more than a tactic to build great products. Product Designer (UI) responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphics elements, and building navigation components. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our consumers/clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.
Responsible for:
- Design Websites (using Webflow/Figma) and Design Products(UX, UI)
- Rapidly ideate and validate designs through sketches, prototypes, and testing.
- Determine the information architecture and flows for your product features.
- Create high-fidelity visuals, UI mockups, prototypes and specifications for your final solutions.
- Work closely with Engineering to ensure a high-quality implementation and user experience.
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers build an even greater understanding of and empathy for our customers.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Create original graphic designs/illustrations (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Help maintain our design system with other product designers and advocate for scalable design solutions.
What we look for:
- Proven work experience (2-4 years) as a UI Designer, in an individual contributor role, on a Product Design team.
- An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a depth of knowledge in user experience, interaction, and visual/user interface design.
- Knowledge of creating Zeplin files for front-end engineers.
- Knowledge of wireframing tools (e.g. Wireframe. cc and InVision, Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or equivalent)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe XD and Photoshop.
- Experience in working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment.
- Experience in validating design decisions through user/usability research.
- Experience in shipping high-quality products experiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelors in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field
- A graphic design qualification or similar.

Job Description
UX designers explore many different approaches to solving a specific user problem. Your broad responsibility will be to ensure that the product logically flows from one step to the next. You would be responsible for the overall feel of the product. You would be expected to define interaction models, user task flows, and UI specifications. Communicate scenarios, personas, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to stakeholders. Develop and maintain design wireframes, mockups, and specifications as needed.

- Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups and prototypes
- Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications
- Develop process flows, wireframes, and mockups to effectively conceptualise and communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviour
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer or similar role
- A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating user-centric design solutions
- A thorough understanding of information architecture and interaction models.
- Awareness and understanding of design guidelines such as material design, flat design etc.
- Passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you
- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience is a plus
- Knowledge of web based UI development technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS etc. is a plus

Develop the brand guidelines and graphics for product and marketing assets. The individual will also own the design of visual assets for marketing of the product across touchpoints.

Develop and strengthen brand assets including style and brand guidelines

Maintain a set of design best practices and guidelines to reduce and minimize production efforts
