Frontend Developer

Job Description 

As an Angular UI + DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our applications UI as well as infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with our development, operations, and QA teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery. 

Responsibilities 

-Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and maintainable software applications using Angular 19. 

-DevOps Integration: Implement and manage DevOps practices to streamline the development, testing, and deployment processes. 

-Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and system administrators, to ensure seamless integration and delivery. 

-Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications across various devices and platforms. 

-Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; conduct code reviews to maintain quality standards. 

-Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes and application performance. 

Requirements 

-Experience: 5 to 9 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Angular 19 and DevOps practices. 

Technical Skills: 

-Proficiency in Angular 19, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript. 

-Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). 

-Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. 

Soft Skills: 

-Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. 

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

-Ability to work in an Agile development environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

-Experience with additional front-end frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js). 

-Certifications in DevOps or cloud technologies. 

-Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools 

-Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

We are seeking for a dedicated individual to join SmartDocs Business Solutions as a Front-end / Mean-stack developer. The candidate will work with the product development team in-order to deliver the best practices; an ideal candidate we are looking after are those who have an experience of 0 – 2 years as a Front-end developer in Angular JS / Angular latest versions. One must possess excellent technical skills with outstanding communication, professionalism, smart-driven, Intelligent along with leadership qualities.

Desirable Skills & Expertise:

• experience of 0 – 2 years of experience as a Mean stack / Front-end Programmer in Angular JS / Angular latest versions with Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computers are preferred.
• Must have work experience in technologies like latest version of Angular (mandatory), Java script, JSON, Bootstrap and Typescript.
• In depth understanding on Programming & Coding are mandatory.
• Knowledge in Linux environment is an added advantage.
• Possesses intellectual humility; smart-driven, creative and able to learn things from slipups, willing to raise others up.
• Excellent Communication & Analytical skills with integrated professionalism at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• The role is responsible for designing stunning user interfaces, coding and deploying of high-performance web applications.
• Must able to develop new efficient features and optimize the existing one.

• Should be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.

• Guide the clients through various stages of the project and transition to support organization.
• Review existing business processes and participate in the Process Improvement Program.

• Strong experience of Angular 2+ and above along with other technologies like HTML5, CSS, jQuery, AJAX with good knowledge of ECMA Scripts.
• Strong knowledge of JS Fundamentals.
• Design & development of Angular applications as per desired specifications, along with experience in frameworks/libraries like jQuery, Bootstrap, Typescript etc.
• Architecture design, development, testing and maintenance of Web Apps, Implementation based on Angular Application MVC Patterns.
• Own end to end product modules/features (from the requirement to going live)- Design & code review, troubleshoot & help team members on issues.
• Gather requirements by interacting directly with the end-users.
• Research on open source framework/technology required for developing the feature/application.

Responsibilities:

• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.
• Write and maintain modular and high performance code.
• Collaborate with BE devs and UX designers to improve usability.
• Participate in technical discussions and communicate across teams.
• Lead frontend technical development efforts.
• Take ownership and drive projects end-to-end.
• Mentor junior developers

• Design front-end architecture (secure, high-performing, scalable, extensible, flexible, simple).

Requirements:

• Should have strong JavaScript fundamentals.
• HTML/CSS experience, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, the JavaScript object model and ES6
• Understanding of React.js / Angular/ Vue.js and its core principles.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with React.js /Vue.js/ Angular.
• Good communication skills.
• Good understanding of FE build systems and tools like Babel(ES6), Webpack, Grunt, npm,. is a plus.
• Experience with browser APIs and optimising front end performance is a plus.
