Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced ML& AI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in developing web applications using Django and Flask, with expertise in deploying and managing applications on AWS. Proficiency in Django Rest Framework (DRF), a solid understanding of machine learning concepts, and hands-on experience with tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and transformer architectures are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Django and Flask frameworks.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF)
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
• Build and integrate APIs for AI/ML models into existing systems.
• Create scalable machine learning models using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
• Implement transformer architectures (e.g., BERT, GPT) for NLP and other advanced AI use cases.
• Optimize machine learning models through advanced techniques such as hyperparameter tuning, pruning, and quantization.
• Deploy and manage machine learning models in production environments using tools like TensorFlow Serving, TorchServe, and AWS SageMaker.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of applications and deployed models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, particularly in AI/ML.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer.
• Proficient in Python with a strong understanding of its ecosystem.
• Extensive experience with Django and Flask frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services for application deployment and management.
• Strong knowledge of Django Rest Framework (DRF) for building APIs.
• Expertise in machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with transformer architectures for NLP and advanced AI solutions.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with MLOps practices for managing the machine learning lifecycle.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

What shall be expected of you:

● Be responsible for the core UI framework, and implement and maintain it.

● Responsible for the development of the front-end applications and

components.

● Coordinate with the backend engineers & designers for requirement

gathering of the product.

● Responsible for quality assurance including web usability, accessibility,

testing and debugging.

● Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

You must have:

● 2-5 years of prior hands-on experience in building responsive web

interfaces for consumers.

● Strong development experience in the following technologies (HTML,

CSS, Javascript, AJAX, working with REST APIs)

● Front end frameworks/libraries such as ReactJS, and Redux.

● Ability to translate product requirements into functional code.

● Ability to estimate the scope of work for sprint planning.

● Self-motivation and ability to work in a small team with minimal

supervision.

Would be awesome if you are also good at:

● SEO and page speed optimization.

● Web standards, Responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility,

Responsibilities:

 Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient Java codebase for our ad-serving platform.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to

understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

 Design and implement new features and functionalities in the ad-serving system, focusing on performance

optimization and reliability.

 Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in the ad server environment, providing timely resolutions to ensure

uninterrupted service.

 Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce coding best practices to maintain code quality

and consistency across the platform.

 Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in ad serving and digital advertising, and integrate

relevant innovations into our platform.

 Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain the ad-serving platform in a cloud- based environment.

 Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and estimate development

efforts for new projects and features.

 Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning and

improvement within the development team.

 Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production issues as needed, ensuring maximum uptime

and reliability of the ad-serving platform.

The candidate should have good communication skills. He/She should be able to communicate effectively with the client to generate the lead. The candidate will be given good incentives on generating business for the company.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Driving the success of the software engineering team at Datamotive.

• Driving go-nogo decisions of product releases to customers.

• Drive QE team for developing test scenarios & product automation.

• Collaborating with senior and peer engineers to identify and improve upon feature improvements.

• Build a strong customer focussed mindset for qualifying product features and use cases.

• Develop, Build & Perform functional, scale and performance testing.

• Assist in Identifying, Researching & Designing newer features and cloud platform support in areas of disaster recovery, data protection, workload migration etc.

• Conduct pilot tests to assess the functionality of newly developed programs.

• Front-facing customers for product introduction, knowledge transfer, solutions, bug triaging etc.

• Assist customers by giving product demos, conducting POCs, training etc.

• Manage Datamotive infrastructure, bringing innovative automation for optimizing infrastructure usage through monitoring and scripting. 

• Design test environments to simulate customer behaviors and use cases in VMware vSphere, AWS, GCP, and Azure clouds.

• Help write technical documentation, and generate marketing content like blogs, webinars, seminars etc.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• 8 - 12 years of experience in software testing with a relevant domain understanding of Data Protection, Disaster Recovery, and Ransomware Recovery.

• A strong understanding and demonstrable experience with at least one of the major public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure or VMware)

• A strong understanding and experience in qualifying complex, distributed systems at feature, scale and performance.

• Insights into the development of client-server SaaS applications with good breadth across networking, storage, micro-services, and other web technologies.

• Programming knowledge in either Python, Shell scripts or Powershell.

• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks E.g. Selenium, Cucumber, and Robot frameworks

• Should be a computer science graduate with strong fundamentals & problem-solving abilities.

• Good understanding of virtualization, storage and cloud platforms like VMware, AWS, GCP, Azure and/or Kubernetes will be preferable.
