Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer who will own infrastructure, deployment, reliability, and cloud cost optimisation. You will work closely with backend, AI, and product teams to ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and always available.

This is a high-ownership role with real impact on uptime, performance, and developer velocity.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud Management

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred; AWS acceptable)
• Manage Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Kubernetes (GKE), Cloud SQL, storage, and networking
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability

CI/CD & Deployment

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend and AI services
• Automate deployments, rollbacks, and environment management (dev, staging, prod)
• Improve release reliability and deployment speed

Monitoring, Reliability & Security

• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging (uptime, CPU, memory, errors, latency)
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and incidents
• Implement security best practices: IAM, secrets management, backups, and access controls

Cost Optimisation & Performance

• Monitor and optimise cloud costs (compute, databases, storage)
• Implement autoscaling, right-sizing, and resource optimisation
• Work with engineering teams to balance performance with cost efficiency

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3–6 years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience
• Strong experience with GCP (or AWS with willingness to transition)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised workloads
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues under pressure
• Experience with AI/ML workloads and GPU-based deployments

1. Understanding the clear requirements from the customer ( Internal / External)

2. Seek more relevant information if needed

3. Translate information into schematic or detail drawing as per requirements

4. Maintain FMS for faster recall

5. Create BOQ and BOM

6. Co-ordination with plant and other functions

The team at Miko team is an interdisciplinary team consisting of team members from electronics, embedded system, mechanical, industrial, robotics and AI engineering domains, Human Robot Interface designers, UI/UX designers, mobile and cloud software engineers, content creators, artists, mathematicians, neuropsychologists, marketing and sales mavericks, Customer support professionals and knowledge partners. 

The Role

We are looking for a middleware software engineer to join the team. In this role you will be working on designing, developing and optimizing the middleware stack for current as well as new companion robot products.

Work Experience & Qualifications

2 years or higher industry experience in the Software domain. No restrictions on degree/qualifications; only skills matter. (* for Junior role)

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing software on the product to enhance current functionality and add new features. Lead the technical delivery of assigned tasks/projects.
• Consistent coordination and collaboration with the Backend, AI, Product and QA team for efficient development cycles and testing for new features and improvements.
• Operating in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of critical business and production issues
• Strong technical leadership with experience building software engineering teams. Demonstrate strong ambiguity resolution skills to be able to break down ambiguous problems into simpler milestones and delegate to junior engineers

Requirements & Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Expertise in C/C++ and Java
• Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
• Experience with implementing various communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART
• Experience working on Embedded Linux OS and Android
• Demonstrated experience in developing multi-threaded applications
• Experience with IPC including socket programming
• Should have hands on experience and thorough knowledge in STL, BOOST understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with using Git as a version control system
• Excellent coding and debugging skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

As a Staff Full-stack engineer, you will work across the Acceldata platform products. We’re looking for people with a strong background or inclination towards data engineering and systems; you’re comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces and can work at the  intersection of Databases, API's and Frontends

You will:          

• Be actively involved in strategic direction and product decisions.
• Design, build and maintain APIs, user-facing experiences, and services.
• Work closely with our customers and sales teams on a regular basis to carve out new features and use cases
• Work with MVC frameworks such as React or Angular 
• Work with database systems, RDBMS, Mongo, Elastic Search.
• Develop shared front-end components (JavaScript & CSS) for use across all of our products, enabling other UI engineers to build better products faster.

You need:      

• 8+ years of significant of web-application development experience in one or more JS frameworks. You care about building better products.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, and problem-solving.
• You're as comfortable writing plain JavaScript as working with modern frameworks like Angular. You've built your own controls and widgets in JavaScript. 
• You write unit tests for your JavaScript (really, you do). You've probably used Node. You have built complex JS web applications.
• Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented 

Good to have:

• Contribution to open-source projects.
• Background in enterprise software
• JVM performance tuning and debugging

Required Skills

Job Description:

1. At least 3+ years’ experience into web front end/full stack development

1. Proficient in Object Oriented JavaScript programming and working with JS frameworks on both client and server-side

1. In depth knowledge and working experience in full stack development, for example in Node JS and Mongo DB based implementations as a MEAN stack dev

1. Experience implementing applications using Sails.JS, Angular or ExpressJS frameworks

1. Have hands on knowledge in database technologies, preferable NoSQL databases, such as, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.

1. Experience with design patterns and building applications from scratch is a plus
2. Thorough understanding and exposure to API integrations, especially RESTful-based web services in JSON
3. Continuous integration (Jenkins/Hudson) and version control (bitbucket, Git etc).
