We are looking for a highly motivated Full Stack Backend Software Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in AI, LLM (Large Language Models), and related technologies, along with the ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Research and gather requirements for backend software projects.
• Develop, test, and maintain backend components of web applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Complete tasks with minimal hand-holding and supervision.
• Assist with frontend tasks using JavaScript and React if required.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in backend development languages such as Python or Node.js
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of AI, LLM, and related technologies is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 4+ years experience in building consumer products
• experience of leading a team of 3 or more full stack developer
• Codeigniter Preferred 
• Good knowledge of Mysql and query optimisation
• Experience with PHP 7, HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, MVC frameworks (Bootstrap), API
• Experience with Ubuntu OS is a plus
• experience deploying softwares to cloud providers such as GCP, AWS

• Be involved in full-fledged product development.
• Build New Features, Push them to production fast.
• Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack
• Build services or APIs which will for easy application integrations at Sokrati to develop applications faster.
• Build scalable/fault-tolerant backend systems that process and analyze billions of data points every day.

• You will participate in every aspect of Software Life Cycle. From inception, to design, to coding, to testing, to deployment and maintenance.

• • 3+ years of web development experience using LAMP stack or Node.js or similar web technologies 
• • Well-versed with front-end code in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, React.js with familiarity in various frameworks and template languages 
• • Possess strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, especially in PHP 
• • Proficient with database design, optimization and tuning in MySQL or MongoDB 
• • Experience in design patterns, unit testing, automation techniques (Selenium WebDriver) 
• • Exposure to Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, SQS, Redshift, etc.) 
• • Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes 
• • Exposure to collaborating tools like GitHub, JIRA, Confluence 
• • Experience in frameworks such as Symfony 2, Express.js, or proven ability to learn on the job 
• • Experience in Microservices and REST architecture 
• • Exposure to Scrum methodology and XP technical practices such as unit testing, pair programming, test-driven development, continuous integration or continuous delivery 
• • Self-motivated, fast learner, detail-oriented, team player and a sense of humor
