DesignByte Studio is looking for a passionate MERN Stack Developer who enjoys building real world products and learning through hands on work. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career who wants to grow by working on live projects with a small and focused team.

You will work closely with designers and product members to build modern web applications and improve existing features. The role is fully remote and outcome focused.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express, React and Node.js

Develop clean, reusable and scalable frontend components

Integrate APIs and work with backend logic and databases

Fix bugs, improve performance and maintain code quality

Collaborate with the team on feature planning and implementation

Required Skills

Good understanding of JavaScript fundamentals

Basic to intermediate knowledge of React and Node.js

Familiarity with MongoDB and REST APIs

Understanding of HTML, CSS and modern frontend practices

Basic knowledge of Git and version control

Good to Have

Experience with Next.js or Tailwind CSS

Basic understanding of authentication and database design

Any personal or academic projects using the MERN stack

• Working knowledge of React JS
• Working knowledge of Redux, ES6, and Webpack.

• Development and building of large-scale applications which is scalable, high performing and resilient
• Understand product requirement and develop/deploy end-to-end scalable technology systems for our ed-tech business
• Setting up the technology infrastructure to host website and apps for our customers
• Integrate third party tools as per the product requirements
• Own the development and operations of our website, apps and database
• Regularly manage, test and fix issues related to security and performance
• Continuously strive to meet the development timelines with minimum bugs
• Maintain good coding practices to ensure quality, documentation, low maintenance
• Work closely with product owner, business owner and testing team to ensure timely and satisfactory product release

Full Stack Engineer

Front End Technology:

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in working web development technologies

• Experience writing modular/reusable code and using modern JS frameworks / libraries like

React or other comparable frameworks or toolkits

• Strong expertise with HTML5, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code.

. Experience with Responsive Frameworks like Bootstrap / Flex.

• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design concepts.

Back end Technology:

• Have extensive experience in designing a backend stack of the product

• Strong understanding of Data Structures / Algorithms.

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Writing Backend Microservices in Node

JS/Python

• Ability to build the product from scratch & drive it to completion

volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly.

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Develop application code and unit test (Karma, Mocha, Chai).
