Job Description:

• Managing the software Product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
• Translate software product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Participate in daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Write requirements typically as user stories and Mockups
• Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule
• Assess and address technical risks and define success criteria for testing and product acceptance
• Creation and maintenance of proper product documentation to gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps
• Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.
• Collaborate with the tech team to create strategies by which technology will be developed or adapted to meet market needs
• Act as liaison between Sales, Client Services, Marketing Support, and Technology teams to support customer demand as part of new product development.

Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Product Manager managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Good knowledge of SDLC and Ability to drive the creation and modification of key documents across Zessta
• Moderately technical with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers to understand product issues and drive the team toward resolution.
• Subject matter expert on Competitive analysis and technical challenges
• Strong knowledge of web development platforms, databases, and infrastructure.
• Proven problem-solving capabilities with the ability to think outside of the box strongly desired.
• Working knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology.
• Work well under pressure and be able to prioritize to meet deadlines and quickly shift priorities as necessary.
• Understand best practices and stay informed about the competition.
• Have experience working on hierarchies (Customer, Product, Developers, UI/UX). Work on data unification and standardization.
• Project management skills to understand project plans

Exceleron Software provides an integrated energy utility customer engagement suite consisting of Online and Cash Payments, Customer Alerts, Prepay Billing, Online Bill Presentment, Usage Monitoring, and a Mobile App (for both iOS and Android) in both the United States and India.

Desired Candidate Profile

1) 3-8 years experience in Perl Development with a working knowledge of the following web

2) development stack: HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache/Nginx Extensive experience with OO Perl

3) Proficient with building/managing relational databases

4) Any perl based web frameworks (Mojolicious, Catalyst, Dancer, CGI Application, or anything else)

• Ideate and create concept storyboards
•   Conceptualise and present ideas as per the brief
•   Pick and arrange effects, music that adds to the narrative
•   Shortlist visuals and footage to be used in the video
•   Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create videos for all marketing and product needs.
•   Reorder and fine-tune content to ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the video and time constraints are incorporated
•   Improve and correcting lighting, coloring and faulty footage & sound
•   Create transitions, titles, graphics and other supporting materials for the video
•   Work closely with producers, directors, external vendors, motion graphic designers and learning managers to present a final product that matches the overall vision
•   Take ownership of post-production management of assets and deliverables, channels & maintenance

• Strong Java software development experience – with a focus on Java 8 & 9
• Experience with NoSql databases – ideally with MongoDB
• Experience implementing REST apis – ideally with JAX-RS
• Experience with Reactive Programming – ideally with RxJava
• Experience implementing unit tests

• Experience developing applications in fintech or established financial institutions
• Experience with microservice architectures
• Experience developing systems that can scale to large amounts of data
• Experience working in Agile Scrum
