Strong Data Engineer Profile

Mandatory (Experience 1) – Must have 6+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, with strong ownership of end-to-end data pipeline development.

Mandatory (Experience 2) – Must have strong experience in ETL/ELT pipeline design, transformation logic, and data workflow orchestration.

Mandatory (Experience 3) – Must have hands-on experience with any one of the following: Dataform, dbt, or BigQuery, with practical exposure to data transformation, modeling, or cloud data warehousing.

Mandatory (Experience 4) – Must have working experience on any cloud platform: GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure, including object storage (GCS, S3, ADLS).

What are we looking for in a candidate?

●      Proven experience of 2-5 years with a minimum of 1 year of experience in AWS Redshift.

●      Proven experience as an AWS Redshift Developer or similar role using PostgreSQL.

●      Proficiency in SQL, database design, and data modeling.

●      Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration.

●      Familiarity with AWS services and cloud computing concepts.

●      Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

●      Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

●      AWS Certified Data Analytics or AWS Certified Database - Specialty certification (preferred).

●      Experience with other AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Lambda (preferred).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build an advanced e-commerce admin dashboard application for our platform.
•  Proven working experience in React JS app development and experience with Web packs and integration with NodeJS.
•  Good understanding of Hooks and Redux State Management tools.
•  Understanding of React Design principles and architecture patterns.
•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
•  Work with outside data sources and APIs like the one of Unicommerce.
•  Create Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new maximizegies to maximize development efficiency.
• Translate designs high-quality into high quality code.
•  Have a good understanding of CI/CD tools (any).
•  Robust knowledge of popular databases like MongoDB, Elastic Search, DynamoDB, Redis etc;
•  Knowledge about AWS Amplify is super plus.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, engineering, or a related technical field
• Proficient with the latest versions of ECMAScript (JavaScript) as well as HTML and CSS
•  Knowledge of React and common tools used in the wider React ecosystem, such as Node.js and npm
