React Native Developer

Job Description

The primary role of this position will be to develop rich Mobile applications for a highly accessed and commercial digital content platform based on a high-performance CE device. We are looking for resources with Android and iOS technology skills for user facing application development using TypeScript and JavaScript FW competency. Your primary focus will be on developing application components and implementing them following well-known mobile development workflows.

Responsibilities:

• As an individual contributor understand the requirements, perform detailed design and coding, debugging, testing and release of the given modules.
• Development of new user-facing features using Mobile technologies, re-usable components and front-end libraries.
• Rapid development ability to build and demonstrate quick Mobile driven solutions.
• Work closely within a small team of experienced engineers to produce high-quality software products on a daring schedule.
• Demonstrate professional engineering practices including alignment to coding standards, producing design documentation, and supporting integration.
• Translating design and wireframes into high quality code, with an eye for performance on specific target devices.
• Write unit test and perform functional verification for the responsible modules
• Perform code reviews and sanity checks for the code developed.

 

Skills:

• Experience with React JS, React Native, JavaScript including DOM Manipulation and JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of any of React Native and its core principles for developing and maintaining Android or iOS applications.
• Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS
• Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Agile Scrum based Development
• Ability to communicate effectively and make effective Presentations
• Solid understanding of MVC and stateless APIs & building RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN.

 

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field, and Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial software development.
• Expertise in object-oriented design methodologies
• Experience working with medium to large scale code bases in small to large groups
• A passion for front end application development

An Accel funded startup which is an audience-participative video content platform for talent shows and game shows in an async, bite sized format. It is a 3-sided platform featuring hosts, contestants and audience.
• Popular hosts set up the talent hunts (across genres like comedy, dance, dating & fashion)
• Contestants send in their video entries, and
• Audiences ‘actively consume’ content by playing judge, predicting winners among other
modes of engagement

Responsibilities:-

• Design and develop mobile applications in true service oriented architecture.
• Building mobile applications on Android platform using Java, Kotlin, etc
• Worked on major architectures like MVVM, MVP

What you need to have:

Passion for all things Mobile and have built complex Mobile Applications with React Native for at least 2 years. Have shipped apps on either the iOS App Store or Android Play Store, and are intimately familiar with their workflows. Comfortable with jest for writing unit and integration tests / appium for end-end testing. Intuition for usability and UI design, with an ability to balance polish with the constraints of timing and scope. Curiosity to remain updated with the newest technologies and frameworks. Comfort with any of WebRTC/Backend Stack/React JS is a strong plus. Most importantly, love coding!

Roles and Responsibilities:
 Expertise in JavaScript, React JS, React Native, Redux with enterprise grade mobile app
development experience.
 Knowledge of industry best practices in React Native implementation.
 Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances, including
ES6+syntax
 Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming
 Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Android Studio
 Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
 Specific hands-on knowledge in following:
a. Styling with React Native
b. App Authentication
c. Pre-built components usage
d. Third-party plugin usage, Redux, Handling Data, Hooks
e. Code Reuse in React

Will be developing mobile and web applications using latest technology. Should be good in analysing requirements and translate into applications. Good in understanding application flows.

Tech Skills –

Mobile technology – Hybrid (Ionic / Angular / Cordova ),  – Expert level – Should have completed at least one  project with server component, use of cloud services, use of device native capabilities like camera, accelerometer etc.

HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Java script – Expert level - Good understanding of concepts and should be able to realize application screens based on the UI provided by designers.

We are looking for a Mobile developer to join our team at Nomads lab solutions. Frontend : React Native OR Flutter (with Firebase SDK for Auth/occasionally for data storage) and React/React-Admin for data management & admin consoles. Backend : - Firebase Auth, Firebase Real-time Database OR GraphQL with Apollo/Prisma - In almost all developments, we use firebase auth. - In small projects, we plan to use firebase for data storage as well so we don’t need to maintain any backend infrastructure - In larger projects, we will occasionally require/build graphQL servers, usually containing Prisma as an ORM - For data management, we use React, and React-Admin wherever dynamic content is required Experience: 2-3 years
