Position Summary

LendingWise is looking for a Full Stack Developer/Architect who has the ability to define, develop and manage the existing architecture strategy for the LendingWise platform & its inter-connected products related to CRM, LOS, Servicing & Marketplace of lenders. You will be responsible for introducing new applications, services, and technologies into the LendingWise technical landscape and you will take responsibility for the initiatives you designed. You will need expert level knowledge of a variety of business domains including, but not limited to, CRM, Loan Origination, Loan Servicing, Payment integration, & API connectivity for various integrations for mortgage vendors (Plaid, Corelogic, DocMagic, Docusign, etc… & CRMs like hubspot, salesforce, etc… You need to manage input from our product owner/manager & CEO and assume overall responsibility for the execution of multiple, large-scale, mission critical initiatives. You will be accountable to a variety of primary business stakeholders for the quality and success of programs assigned to you. An acute sense of attention to detail is necessary. This role requires working with teams within and outside the USA. Flexibility in working hours will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Help plan, architect, & review various phases, features, bugs, & enhancements of the CRM, Loan Origination, & Loan Servicing platform & API connectivity hub

Introduce new tools and fresh insights to assist with development goals

Work on new features, enhancements, bugs & refactor code to MVC structure within the LendingWise platform

Requirements

Deep knowledge of Core PHP & other PHP frameworks, including strong experience with MVC patterns

JavaScript, HTML, Bootstrap

MySQL & Stored Procedures

Excellent skills in object-oriented programming and MVC design patterns

Comfortable working with SSH command line & GitHub version control, & PHP Storm

Solid knowledge of RESTful API endpoints

Multi-tenant CRM, ERP, Real Estate, Loan or FinTech Experience required

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analysing user requirements, writing and testing code
• Developing existing programs by analysing existing code and identifying areas for modification
• Integrating existing software products with 3^rd party applications
• Undertakes feasibility study to design software solutions.
• Formulate, approve and recommend technical specifications.
• Responsible for ensuring quality delivery and code reviews.

Skills and Requirements:

• Have a minimum 2:1 degree in Computer Science or Maths with high levels of programming and 3 years’ hands-on technical skills
• Development of Single Page Application (SPA) applications written using Angular framework
• Development experience with .Net, C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, MVC, Java/TypeScript, HTML & CSS
• Knowledge of SOA, Web API, RESTful JSON, SOAP web services and integration concepts
• Competent Data skills with Microsoft SQL
• Version control using Git and/or Subversion
• Exposure to devOps Continuous Integration and/or Continuous Delivery is a plus
• A working knowledge of SAP is advantageous.

Role & Responsibilities

• A Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer with good understanding of Java script, jQuery, HTML, CSS. The individual will need to be hands on with development, performance optimisation, secure development process, usability, and coding standards of the product.
• Strong ROR development experience and follows best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, and code standards).
• Should have a mix of excellent reasoning ability to document, develop and test software with the commitment to excellence and defect free product before being deployed.
• Should be able to work closely with all stakeholders to investigate, fix, optimise, test, and deploy high quality solutions.
• Should have hands on understanding of technical design, implementation, and maintenance of technical initiatives towards improving and scaling of products.
• Self-motivated and should rapidly incorporate new requirements and deliver successfully by self.
• Effectively communicates with peers and stakeholders, gathers and clarify requirements from technical & functional aspect.

• Follows software development process; consistently innovates processes to improve individual and team productivity and quality.

• Experience with Agile development lifecycle with excellent understanding of feature estimation and ability to communicate issues and risks that may impact timelines or resources.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4+ years of IT experience.
• At least 4 years commercial web development experience.
• At least 3 years of Ruby on Rails commercial development experience.
• Familiarity with Relational and Non Relation Databases ( Postgres, Mysql, MongoDb)
• REST API development.
• Familiarity with In Memory Database ( Redis, Memcache )
• Web development - HTML, HTML5 JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, jQuery, http, REST.
• AGILE/SCRUM development Experience.
• Development practices - Rails test framework / TDD / BDD, Domain Driven Design, SOLID, refactoring, OOP design patterns
• Expertise in version control system ( GIT )
• Candidate need to be comfortable dabbling with some basic infrastructure management on AWS.
• Familiarity with ( React, Vue ) is a plus.
