We expect you to have:
- 5+ years professional experience
- Exceptional proficiency in building component-based web apps in JavaScript and TypeScript using Vue 2 & 3.
- Expertise in client-side state management tools, specifically Vuex.
- Good understanding of client-side app architecture.
- Excellent knowledge of CSS and experience in writing stylesheets in SASS
- Integrating web service calls/remote data/APIs
- Proficient understanding of git
- Clear and concise written and oral English communication skills.
- Compilation, bundling, and packaging via Webpack, Babel, etc.
- Strong UI/UX skills
- Node.js and npm
- React Native experience seen as a bonus
What you’ll be doing:
- Working closely with your team to develop and deliver high-end solutions using Agile methodologies
- Translating designs into pixel perfect elegant Vue.js code
- Coding and deploying new features
- Ensuring our web applications and components are accessible, responsive, performant, and bug-free for recent versions of web browsers across all popular platforms.
- Ensuring all code is readable, well documented and testable
- Working on some new developments, some significant enhancements to existing system and some support activities

- Proficiency in building REST based APIs, using Laravel (PHP 7+) for complex workflow systems.
- Expertise building component-based web apps/SPAs in JavaScript / ES6 and TypeScript using Vue.js / Vue 2 & 3.
- Excellent knowledge of CSS and experience in writing stylesheets in SASS
- Proficient understanding of git
- Node.js and npm
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- An ability to quickly get to grips with new systems; whether that be shiny new tech or existing/legacy developments.

We sell direct across France and Europe from colorneon.com. More than 10,000 homes, bars, restaurants, shops and event planners have bought from us. Every sign is handcrafted, energy-efficient LED neon with a 2-year warranty.
The business runs on Shopify. We built our own 3D neon configurator so customers can design their sign in the browser, and we work AI-first: the team uses Claude and Codex every day to build, test and ship.
We are now opening our first engineering seat in India, in Indore. Until now every technical decision has been made remotely from France. That changes with this hire: one engineer, sitting with the founder, owning the Shopify apps, the storefront rebuild and the configurator. One product, long term, with real ownership.
