Role Objective

Build and manage a reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient supplier ecosystem for customised and premium furniture, while ensuring consistent quality, lead-time adherence, and strong commercial competitiveness across categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard OEM partners across furniture categories including Sofas, Beds, Dining, Storage, and Accent Furniture.
• Build a diversified and balanced supplier portfolio to reduce concentration risk while maintaining quality and delivery consistency.
• Develop long-term strategic partnerships with key vendors, including exclusivity arrangements where relevant.
• Drive supplier capability development across quality, finishing standards, compliance, and scalability.
• Own end-to-end costing, pricing, and commercial negotiations with vendors.
• Deliver cost optimisation through material optimisation, process improvements, volume leverage, and alternate sourcing.
• Lead annual rate negotiations, cost resets, and contract renewals.
• Work closely with Category, Design, and Product teams to enable New Product Development (NPD).
• Ensure sourcing feasibility for design-led, customised, and make-to-order products.
• Define, implement, and enforce supplier SLAs covering quality standards, lead times, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with Vendor Managers and QC teams to ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance.
• Review vendor performance regularly and drive corrective actions and improvement plans.
• Identify and mitigate sourcing risks related to capacity constraints, supplier dependency, and raw material volatility.
• Partner with Finance on contracts, payment terms, and commercial governance.

• Cost savings and margin improvement (CM1 / Gross Margin)

Ideal Profile

• 6–10 years of experience in furniture sourcing, manufacturing, or category operations.
• Strong understanding of furniture materials, production processes, and finishing standards.
• Proven expertise in vendor negotiations, cost management, and supplier development.
• Experience in customised or make-to-order manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with a hands-on execution mindset.

For our Cloud and Digital team, we seek Hands-On Technical Lead who can work on designing & implementing high quality scalable cloud software while providing technical leadership/mentoring to a small team of talented developers in agile environment. Your ability to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of maintainable, high-quality, and high-performing web (Java microservices, React UI, AWS) and mobile applications (iOS, Android, React native) is essential for success in this role. 

What you will be doing:

1. Strong programming knowledge in a combination of Java/Spring boot and Ruby on Rails. Expert in working in AWS Cloud, Micro services, REST, MongoDb / RDBMS/Cassandra, React /Node/Java Script, web frameworks/web technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, Messaging Brokers (Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMq), Redis
2. Shaping architecture for robust, reliable, and high-performance applications, considering functional and technical requirements.
3. Manage/Mentor team of talented developers. Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders.
4. Estimate/Plan/Manage project deliverables in Agile environment with incremental system delivery.
5. Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning is a plus.
6. Good knowledge in version control and branching concepts (git, mercurial)

Who you are and what you bring:

1. B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science / Electronics and Electrical. Strong academics and career track record.
2. 15+ years of solid software development experience in building secure, scalable, and resilient systems.
3. Proven experience as software technical lead/manager/architect with cloud and digital SW
4. Excellent knowledge of software implementation, design and architecture of Web and Mobile apps.
5. Proven experience in working with AWS (preferably) or GCP or Azure.
6. Strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools.
7. Strong understanding of software design principles (SOLID, design patterns etc.)
8. Strong understanding of SOA and enterprise integration patterns.
9. Strong understanding of Functional or OOP patterns.
10. Experience in Web and Mobile software development and coding in various languages (Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Java, React, iOS, Android, Python etc.). Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design.

Strong programming (Java, C/C++) and troubleshooting skill

Experience on Android telephony, connectivity framework

RIL 

Familiarity and support of PTCRB/GCF certification process.

Knowledge a cellular test equipment and network IOT

IMS/Volte/SMS over IMS/Video calling and SIP signaling – Desired

Knowledge of QUALCOMM tools, QXDM, QRCT, ER & Analysis of logs.

Preferred - knowledge on 3GPP specs and GSM/GPRS/EGPRS/WCDMA/UMTS/LTE/TD-SCDMA standards

ROLE REQUIREMENTS :

- Good knowledge of Teamcenter Data Model & BMIDE configuration

- Strong experience in Configuration and Administration of one or many Teamcenter modules like Access Manager, Organization, Query Builder, Workflow Designer, Structure Manager, Change Management, Preferences, Stylesheets and Classification

- Configuring CAD Managers

- Experience in SAP/ERP Integration using T4S or T4EA configuration experience preferred

- Import/Export Administration (Like PLMXML) preferred

- Good knowledge of Teamcenter & AWC Architecture. Hands-on installation experience on 4 tier, AWC & Dispatcher preferred

- Configure & Build solutions on Teamcenter to meet business process and customer requirements.

- Responsible for delivery of technical solution that spans Teamcenter and integrations with Teamcenter.

- Good understanding of Product Life Cycle Management concepts and their application in the area of Mechanical Design, Manufacturing process management, Bill of Materials, Document Management, Product change/configuration management and collaborative product development

- Experience of performing deployment in non-production & production environments preferred

- Able to prepare deployment & user document

- Provide training on Teamcenter to users
