Position - News Editor

We are looking for a passionate News editor to join our editorial team and add flavor to the news articles. Every day, the role would include coordinating with an enthusiastic team of web3 experts in drafting articles that resonate with the target audience.

Experience: 4+ years of experience.

Roles and responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the newsroom, ensuring the timely publication of news articles.
• Helping and assisting the digital marketing team in framing content strategies.
• Source, assign, and review news articles, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to editorial guidelines.
• Monitor industry trends, breaking news, and regulatory updates to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Collaborate with the social media and multimedia teams to enhance content distribution.
• Manage newsroom workflows, set deadlines, and provide editorial direction to the team.
• Conduct meticulous final checks to catch any errors, inaccuracies, or formatting issues.
• Collaborate with writers to address feedback and make necessary revisions.
• Utilize content management systems (CMS) to publish and schedule articles and multimedia content.

Note:-

Preference

• Experience in working with a team of journalists or any news media platform related to fintech.
• Experience in finding and fetching trending news using social media channels like Twitter, Reddit, Telegram, and other open-source platforms.
• Exposure to modern technologies like AI, blockchain, and Web3.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an editor in a crypto media platform.
• Exceptional command of the English language, with strong writing and editing skills.
• Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS).

The Position

This exciting role within Ashnik’s consulting team brings a great opportunity in terms of desiging and deploy Kubernetes platform solution for Ashnik’s enterprise customers, who are spread across SEA and India. This role takes a lead in consulting the customers for adoption of Kubernetes platform for their Digital Transformation journey.

Experience and skills required

• 8 to 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure
• Expertise on Linux and container technologies
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in configuration and management of the Kubernetes platform
• Experienced with working on cloud service provider’s Kubernetes platform is an added advantage
• Proven technical skill in designing and delivering of enterprise level solution involving integration of complex technologies
• Knowledge and experience of CI/CD pipeline
• Good understanding of networking and software defined storage concepts
• Experienced in automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform is also highly desirable
• Shell scripting skills are required
• Experience of deploying, configuring, managing Kubernetes on public cloud platform

This role requires high degree of being a self-starter, working with diversified teams and with customers spread across Southeast Asia and the India region. This role requires you to be pro-active in communicating with customers and internal teams about various industry trends, technology development and crafting thought leadership.

• Inventory Specialist (Req 2) 

Must have skills: 

Should have experience as End user in SCM 

Expertise in Supply Chain Management (SCM) Oracle preferred  

Experience in Inventory Management 

• You will coordinate and route the flow of material between contract manufacturers and distribution centers in North America, Europe, and Asia.  
• You will expedite parts to remedy any shortage problems.  
• Perform purchase order receipts, create travelers, and maintain records of material flow.  
• Updating logs, databases, maintaining files, project reports, specifications, product information, and documentation.  
• Preparing processes and status reports, assigning and monitoring documents/databases, and reviewing documents/databases for accuracy and completeness.  

• Responsible for incoming and outgoing material flows primarily supporting global distribution activities.  
• Monitor the flow of material and parts between various suppliers and internal departments to meet tight schedules. 

We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design and quality products is important.

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js

• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code

• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
