Key Responsibilities

1. Material & Production Quality Control

 Inspect incoming façade materials (aluminum profiles, glass, brackets, sealants,

fasteners, etc.) for compliance with approved specifications.

 Monitor façade fabrication processes, including cutting, machining, assembly, and

glazing to ensure adherence to quality standards.

 Verify proper calibration and operation of machinery used in façade production.

 Conduct in-process and final inspections of façade panels and units.

2. Installation Site Quality Control

 Inspect façade installation on-site, ensuring alignment, fixing, sealing, waterproofing,

and thermal insulation meet approved drawings and method statements.

 Monitor installation tolerances, anchorage systems, and structural safety

requirements.

 Identify non-conformities at the site and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

3. Testing & Compliance

 Conduct or supervise façade-related tests such as water penetration tests, air

infiltration tests, structural load tests, adhesion tests, and visual inspections.

 Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards (ASTM, BS,

EN, ISO), and local building regulations.

 Prepare and maintain test reports, inspection checklists, and NCRs (Non-

Conformance Reports).

4. Documentation & Reporting

 Maintain detailed QC documentation including ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), MIRs

(Material Inspection Requests), WIRs (Work Inspection Requests), and QC daily

logs.

 Support QA/QC Manager in compiling QA documentation for project handover.

 Track and follow up on corrective actions and improvements.

5. Coordination & Communication

 Coordinate with production supervisors, site engineers, project managers, and

subcontractors regarding quality issues.

 Participate in quality meetings, site inspections, and audits.

 Provide technical guidance and training on quality procedures for façade works.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

 Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,

Architecture, or related field.

Experience

 2–7 years of experience in façade QC, curtain wall systems, cladding, or

aluminum/glass fabrication.

 Knowledge of façade materials, production processes, and installation techniques.

Technical Skills

 Familiarity with quality standards: ASTM, EN, BS, ISO.

 Ability to read engineering drawings and façade shop drawings.

 Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and NCR management.

 Understanding of façade testing procedures.

What you will do?

• Analyze and remediate large enterprise Java codebases to replace legacy or database-specific SQL constructs with modern, standards-compliant SQL.
• Convert embedded SQL within Java services and MyBatis XML mappers, including rewriting constructs such as vendor-specific functions, sequences, pagination logic, dynamic SQL, and error-handling patterns.
• Collaborate closely with schema and database migration engineers to ensure application-layer SQL aligns with the modernized target schema.
• Refactor Java transaction logic, error-handling, drivers, and ORM/DAO layers to support the behavior of modern databases.
• Participate in unit, integration, and performance testing to confirm functional parity and ensure applications meet performance SLAs post-modernization.
• Support application cutover activities for production environments, including validation, monitoring setup, rollback planning, and stabilization.
• Produce engineering documentation: SQL remediation guides, code-migration runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge-transfer material for customer teams.
• Work across distributed teams (US & India) and collaborate with customer SMEs to ensure business logic alignment and successful modernization outcomes.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional Java development experience (Spring, JDBC, MyBatis/Hibernate or equivalent).
• Experience with application modernization, database migrations, or large-scale refactoring initiatives.
• Strong SQL expertise and the ability to analyze, interpret, optimize, and rewrite complex SQL used within Java applications.
• Deep understanding of JDBC, ORMs, Java transaction patterns, and database-driven application flows.
• Experience working on enterprise-grade, high-performance applications with complex data interactions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with global distributed teams in US time-zones.

You will be preferred if

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, or modernization from legacy databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Exposure to automated code-refactoring tools or GenAI-assisted remediation workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments, performance testing tools, and observability stacks.
• Consulting or professional services experience delivering fixed-timeline modernization projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Python (Flask, FastAPI, or Django).

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with deep understanding of OOP, asynchronous programming, and performance optimization.
• Proven expertise in building FAST API based microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL data modeling, query optimization, and schema design.
• Excellent hands on proficiency in frontend proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
