Summary 

This role requires the candidate to translate business and product requirements to build, maintain, optimize data systems which can be relational or non-relational in nature. The candidate is expected to tune and analyse the data including from a short and long-term trend analysis and reporting, AI/ML uses cases. 

We are looking for a talented technical professional with at least 8 years of proven experience in owning, architecting, designing, operating and optimising databases that are used for large scale analytics and reports. 

Responsibilities 

• Provide technical & architectural leadership for the next generation of product development. 
• Innovate, Research & Evaluate new technologies and tools for a quality output. 
• Architect, Design and Implement ensuring scalability, performance and security. 
• Code and implement new algorithms to solve complex problems. 
• Analyze complex data, develop, optimize and transform large data sets both structured and unstructured. 
• Ability to deploy and administrator the database and continuously tuning for performance especially container orchestration stacks such as Kubernetes  
• Develop analytical models and solutions Mentor Junior members technically in Architecture, Designing and robust Coding. 
• Work in an Agile development environment while continuously evaluating and improvising engineering processes 

Required 

• At least 8 years of experience with significant depth in designing and building scalable distributed database systems for enterprise class products, experience of working in product development companies. 
• Should have been feature/component lead for several complex features involving large datasets. 
• Strong background in relational and non-relational database like Postgres, MongoDB, Hadoop etl. 
• Deep exp database optimization, tuning ertise in SQL, Time Series Databases, Apache Drill, HDFS, Spark are good to have 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill sets. 
• Experience in  for high throughput is highly desirable 
• Exposure to database provisioning in Kubernetes/non-Kubernetes environments, configuration and tuning in a highly available mode. 
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring to the team 

The Role: Product Designer: UI

Location: Bangalore

Product Designer (UI) responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphics elements, and building navigation components. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our consumers/clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base. 

Responsible for:

• Design Websites (using Webflow/Figma) and Design Products(UX, UI)
• Rapidly ideate and validate designs through sketches, prototypes, and testing.
• Determine the information architecture and flows for your product features.
• Create high-fidelity visuals, UI mockups, prototypes and specifications for your final solutions.
• Work closely with Engineering to ensure a high-quality implementation and user experience.
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers build an even greater understanding of and empathy for our customers.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Create original graphic designs/illustrations (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Help maintain our design system with other product designers and advocate for scalable design solutions.

What we look for:

• Proven work experience (2-4 years) as a UI Designer, in an individual contributor role, on a Product Design team.
• An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a depth of knowledge in user experience, interaction, and visual/user interface design.
• Knowledge of creating Zeplin files for front-end engineers.
• Knowledge of wireframing tools (e.g. Wireframe. cc and InVision, Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or equivalent)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe XD and Photoshop.
• Experience in working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment.
• Experience in validating design decisions through user/usability research.
• Experience in shipping high-quality products experiences.

Responsibilities

Providing a strong leadership for the Tech QA department to move to greater heights of value and maturity.

Develop functional and performance test plans and cases for internal and external facing software systems

Driving tools and frameworks for functional automation and performance  testing

Participate in required activities and validation gates running up to a General Availability release

Ideal Candidate Profile

7 to 15 years of product QA experience, with at least 2 years of experience as QEM or EM

7+ years of experience as a SDET/automation engineer

5+ years of experience Testing software for mobile applications/ web applications on devices(Android/IPhone)

Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, or equivalent technical domain

Preferably with product based startup experience

Should have built automation competency using selenium, appium, web services and performance testing

Knowledge and application of concepts such as continuous integration, continuous build, dev ops.

Shows creativity and initiative to improve Test coverage and effectiveness.

Strong competency in project management, process management, Product quality management, people management and delivery management skills and experience

Good understanding and experience in working product development organisations, B2C product line, and mobile products.

We are looking to hire a Senior Backend Developer, with over 4+ years of experience, to directly work with the CTO and contribute in building and developing new products and feature sets for NostraGamus. The work will entail the opportunity to explore and utilise the latest developments in the world of technology, and formulate ways to incorporate them into day to day work to create stellar products. The candidate must have had significant exposure in building real products, including working with various stakeholders across product and marketing teams. Prior knowledge in building games at scale is highly desirable, but not necessarily.

The following skillsets are highly essential:

1. Expertise in Node Js&Javascript, and hobbyist interest in few other languages like Python, Ruby, PHP. Must have done C/C++ programming in school/college
2. Deep knowledge on Database systems, especially PostgreSQL, and any noSQL clones, including knowledge to optimise
