UI Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer with expertise in React.js and React Flow to design and implement dynamic, interactive user interfaces. You will be responsible for building scalable web applications and visual workflows that empower users to interact with complex data and processes intuitively.

• Develop responsive and high-performance web applications using React.js
• Design and implement interactive flow-based UIs using React Flow
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into functional components

• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage application state using tools like Redux or Zustand
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes

✅ Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js
• Hands-on experience with React Flow for building node-based editors or workflow diagrams
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil)
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Styled Components)
• Understanding of component lifecycle, hooks, and functional programming
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices

💡 Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with backend integration (Node.js, GraphQL, etc.)
• Exposure to data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js)
• Understanding of accessibility and performance optimization

Experience: 3-4 years of experience in ReactJS, JS, TypeScript, NextJS frontend technologies.

Responsibilities:

-Developing new user-facing features using ReactJS, JS, TypeScript, NextJS, HTML5, CSS.

-Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

-Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code

-Product enhancements in existing Insurance and Financial Services products

-Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

Skills:

-Strong expertise in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

-Strong experience of ReactJS and its core principles like states, hooks, HoC etc

-Experience with popular ReactJS workflows (such as Redux or Flux)

-Strong expertise in NextJS and performance tuning

-Good with RESTful APIs

-Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

-Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

-Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, NPM, etc.

-Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Lead – Frontend Engineer to join our growing engineering team to help build and maintain HappyFox’s product offerings. 

What you can expect as a Technical Lead at HappyFox:

• You will consistently ship features and improvements and lead a team of engineers working on our product roadmap.
• You will oversee software architecture, Git workflows, and CI/CD processes and perform code reviews to ensure exceptional code quality.

• You have 2+ years of experience in a technical lead role designing and building single-page web applications.
• You have 8+ years of relevant professional experience in building web applications with javascript frameworks like Ember.js or React.js.

As a Mid Level Front-End Developer, you will:

Create well-designed, documented, and tested front end solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks, such as React and Redux, CSS-in-JS, Styled Components, etc.

Collaborate with clients, project managers, UX designers, and other developers to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements within agreed-upon scope and architecture designs

Translate wireframes into fully functional user interfaces and proactively address edge case scenarios

Collaborate with back-end developers to design REST APIs and request/response schemas

Perform code reviews with constructive feedback

Promote clean code, best practices, and consistent design patterns across the team

Write infrastructure as code and automated deployment scripts for customer delivery

Provide development estimates from granular tasks to comprehensive projects/applications

Lead and present technical discussions to clients, including knowledge transfers

Take on additional responsibilities over time and become a key contributor for scaling team size

1. Application Developer -UI

• 2-5 years of experience in Front end development including Vue.js (preferred) or Angular js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
• While Vue.js preferred a good understanding of Angular / React is acceptable. Should be able to adopt to Vue.js. quickly.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWT (JSON Web Token) and Core web fundamentals: HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Good communication skills.

• Must have - Javascript, React JS, React Native, Typescript
• Good to have - Andriod/iOS, Express.JS, Angular, VUE, Team Lead experience/Scrum Master, Design Experience
• Working Experience on building Dashboards, UI Prototypes, Internal Tools
