Docsumo is Document AI software that helps enterprises capture data and analyze customer documents. We convert documents such as invoices, ID cards, and bank statements into actionable data. Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for overseeing the development of Docsumo React webapp. You will be working closely with the founders and lead the frontend development.
• Serve as a thought leader and mentor on technical, architectural, design and related issues.
• You will responsible to provide oversight, accountability, and leadership for technical decisions
• You will be designing and building modules in React within the Docsumo webapp. The webapp is the main way for customers to consume Docsumo APIs.
• Own and Implement the features using the technology stack that we have in place while bringing in flavours of latest but proven trends and methods
• Contribute to Product and Design ideas and Implement them as your own product. We value everyone’s inputs.
• Work with our hiring team to hire amazing engineers who will expand the Docsumo culture and product.

Skills:

• At least 6 years years experience building React webapps
• Demonstrated ability to build webapps from scratch using React. Demonstrated ability of managing frontend engineers
• Proven skills in developing a production level end to end UI application on their own
• Excellent command over HTML5, CSS, Javascript & React, Redux
• Familiarity with Version Control tools such as Git
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases with hands-on experience in at least one database system
• Must be self-motivated, flexible, collaborative, with an eagerness to learn
• Comfortable working in an Agile work environment with an incredibly fast pace and a large degree of independence.

• At least 4+ years experience in Angular.js / React.Js
• 4+ years of strong programming experience in UI/Web development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• 2+ years of strong programming experience in Unit Test Code Coverage using Jasmine / Karma.
• Strong in OOAD, design concepts & software engineering fundamentals.
• Strong inclination towards delivering quality software.
• Should be a good team player. Should have experience working in Agile Scrum Teams.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong experience in defining & implementing software quality improvement measures: CI/CD setup, Jasmine, Karma Unit Testing
• Experience in working with tools like TFS, GIT.
• Should have strong problem-solving skills.

• Experience in UX will be good to have.

Dremio’s user experience is one of its  key differentiators and makes all your data easily accessible and shareable by your data consumers. UI Engineers at Dremio are responsible for the development of  the user interface and user experience on Dremio’s Data Lake Engine.

Responsibilities and ownership

• Own the  full cycle of development of our modern single page web application from inception, design, development, testing, and production.
• Care deeply about modular design patterns and frameworks  to deliver an architecture that’s rooted in simplicity, that’s easy to iterate on and constantly evolve.
• Passionate about ease of use, experience and quality of the product.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• 2 years minimum experience with React is highly preferred and currently utilizing React in their current job.
• Strong coding experience in JavaScript (or TypeScript), HTML, and CSS.
• Passion about UI development and UX design
• Shown proven success in delivering high-quality front end applications
• Fluency in the understanding of SQL and databases (relational or non-relational)
• B.S. or M.S  in Computer Science in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience

• Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
• Proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5
• Extensive knowledge of CSS3 and JS methods for providing performance visual effects and keeping the frame rate above 30fps at all times
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
• Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core Angular
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A team player, fast learner with good verbal and written communication skills

In this role you will

• Be a part of a small UI team and will work closely with the UXdesigner and product manager to shape the product design.
• Build web UI components for a cloud-native SaaS product.
• Drive clear requirements for the backend APIs working closely withthe backend engineers.
• Focus on quality and velocity by developing appropriate tests.

Requirements

• Highly motivated self-starter with a builder’s mindset.
• 5+ years of web UI development experience.
• Highly skilled in JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Deep knowledge and experience of REST APIs.
