Test Automation Engineer

Sizzle is an exciting new startup that’s changing the world of gaming.  At Sizzle, we’re building AI to automate gaming highlights, directly from Twitch and YouTube streams. 

For this role, we're looking for someone that is a gaming streamer (mobile & PC), plays a variety of games, and can test out Sizzle’s various new features. Specifically, you will test each feature by streaming various games and making suggestions for improving the process. You will also test the quality of highlights produced and make suggestions for improvement.  You will work closely with the AI engineering, front end, product management, and data annotation teams.

You will:

• Stream various games as requested
• Test out each feature and provide feedback on user interface and quality of output
• Watch highlights generated and make suggestions on improvement
• Suggest new features
• Work closely with the engineering, product management and annotation teams to get the features implemented

You should have the following qualities:

• Be a passionate gamer
• Must be a regular streamer on Twitch and/or YouTube
• Play a variety of popular PC and mobile games (e.g. Call of Duty: Warzone, Fortnite, Free Fire, etc).
• Willingness to work hard and hit deadlines
• Work well with people
• Interested in learning about AI and computer vision
• Willingness to learn rapidly on the job

Requirements

• At least 6 months or more of QA Automation experience using Playwright.
• Own the design, implementation, and roll-out of our selected test automation framework (Playwright)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to identify testing needs and requirements for software products.
• Manage, develop and grow a small team of QA Automation Engineers
• Strong programming experience, preferably in JavaScript.
• Analyse test results and report findings to stakeholders, including developers, testers, and project managers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and software development, and share knowledge and expertise with the team.

1. Strong Java Coding experience,
2. Experience in Automation Testing with Java Selenium webdriver
3. Team Lead Experience is preferred.
4. Automated API testing with experience to recall Rest APIs.
5. Knowledge in Jenkins,GIT
6. Cloud knowledge is preferred.

Salary Range-25lpa-30lpa

1. Create detailed, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize and plan testing activities to meet project deadlines. Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
2. Facilitate end-to-end mobile, working directly with developers.
3. Expert knowledge of QA methodologies and software life cycle, previous working experience in Agile environment is preferred.
4. Review requirements specifications, attend sprint grooming and planning meetings to provide timely and meaningful feedback wherever applicable
5. Highly effective collaborator and experience working across multiple departments such as Engineering, Product, Client Success, etc.
6. Ability to troubleshoot issues and help developers, product or client success.
7. Participate in release management; available for testing for code releases and smoking testing, etc.
8. Continuous improvement - contribute in development, improvement, and maintenance of the testing processes and structures
   
   Requirements

1. BTech and/or MTech in Engineering or related fields
2. 2+ years of experience using or creating shared test framework
3. Ability to create and maintain functional tests within fast-moving Agile delivery
4. Experience using test case management system like TestRail, Test Complete or Test Lodge
5. Experience using JIRA and, Atlassian suite
6. Excellent communication and documentation skills
7. Solid knowledge of Continuous Integration
8. Proficiency in analyzing requirements, functional specs, and technical specs
9. Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions and innovative ideas
10. Strong quality mindset, great team spirit and being detail oriented
11. Able to work in a very dynamic workplace
