Role Overview
We are looking for a Telesales Executive who will be responsible for connecting with prospective students, parents, and other leads, understanding their requirements, explaining relevant Catalyst programs, conducting regular follow-ups, and converting qualified prospects into enrollments.
The ideal candidate should be confident on calls, persuasive, target-oriented, and comfortable handling high-volume conversations and follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective students, parents, and leads generated through various channels.
- Understand the prospect's educational background, career goals, and requirements.
- Explain POSSPOLE Catalyst programs, benefits, structure, and career opportunities clearly.
- Handle questions and objections and provide appropriate information to prospects.
- Conduct consistent follow-ups through calls, WhatsApp, and other official communication channels.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, follow-ups, and conversions in the CRM/tracker.
- Qualify leads based on their interest, eligibility, and requirements.
- Work towards achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales/conversion targets.
- Coordinate with the Business Development and Operations teams for successful enrollment and onboarding.
- Maintain professional relationships with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
- Provide regular updates to the reporting manager on lead status, conversions, and challenges.
- Continuously improve calling, counselling, objection-handling, and conversion techniques.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in telesales, inside sales, telecalling, counselling, or business development.
- Freshers with strong communication and sales aptitude are welcome.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Target-oriented and motivated by achieving results.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
