Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Data Engineering Team: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers and ensure best practices in data architecture and pipeline design.
• Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support analytics, reporting, and data science activities.
• Cloud Architecture (GCP): Architect and optimize data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of data systems.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools to ensure the seamless deployment and automation of data workflows.
• Data Warehousing: Design and implement data warehousing solutions, ensuring optimal performance and efficient data storage using technologies like Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Workflow Orchestration: Use Apache Airflow to orchestrate complex data workflows and scheduling of data pipeline jobs.
• Automation with Terraform: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background, capable of transforming complex data into actionable insights. Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Interpretation:
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).   
• Interpret data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Data Management & Infrastructure:
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through data validation and cleansing.
• Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain data documentation and data dictionaries.
• Work with databases and data warehouses, including SQL querying.
• Reporting & Visualization:
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Create clear and concise reports for executive management and other stakeholders.
• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Statistical Analysis & Modeling:
• Apply statistical methods and techniques to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Develop predictive models and perform forecasting to support business planning.
• Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives.

●              Work with application development teams to identify and understand their operational pain points.

●              Document these challenges and define goals to be achieved by the infrastructure team.

●              Prototype and evaluate multiple solutions, often by experimenting with various vendors and tools available, to achieve the goals undertaken.

●              Rollout tools and processes with heavy focus on automation.

●              Evangelize and help onboard application development teams on the platforms provided by the infrastructure team.

●              Co-own the responsibility with application development teams to ensure the reliability of services.

●              Design and implement solutions around observability to ensure ease of maintenance and quick debugging of services

●              Establish and implement administrative and operational best practices in the application development teams.

●              Find avenues to reduce infrastructure costs and drive optimization in all services.

●              5+ years of experience as a DevOps / Infrastructure engineer with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)

●              Experience with git, CI / CD, Docker, etc

●              Experience in working with infrastructure as code (Terraform, etc).

●              Strong Linux Shell scripting experience

●              Experience with one of the programming languages like Python, Java, Kotlin, etc.

Skills you are expected to have :

- Deep understanding of technologies, high level design, low level design in a secure, scalable and available set-up.

- Deep understanding & expertise with highly transactional, large relational and complex systems.

- Hands-on experience in system design, architecture or developing distributed systems.

- Should be good in writing code keeping scalability, flexibility and monitoring at center.

- Good understanding of source control tools GIT, Jira and Bitbucket, code reviews etc.

- Preferable experience in Django and Laravel frameworks, but not limited to these only.

- Experience in the development of robust and scalable Rest APIs and APIs testing tools such as postman etc.

- Experience in micro service-based development would be a plus.

- Experience in queuing systems such as rabbitMQ, Active MQ would be a plus.

- Experience in AWS cloud services.

- Experience and understanding of CI/CD pipeline.

- Good analytical and communication skills.
