About the role

We are looking for talented Senior Backend Engineers (5+ years of experience) to join our team and take ownership of different parts of our stack. You will be working alongside a team of Engineers locally and directly with the U.S. Engineering team on all aspects of product/application development. You will leverage your experiences and abilities to inform decisions across product development and technology. You will help us build the foundation of our 2nd Headquarters in Pune: its culture, its processes, and its practices. There are a ton of interesting problems to solve, so come hungry. Who we are: Our Co-Founder and CTO is a Serial Gen AI Inventor who grew up in Pune, India, is a BITS Pilani graduate, and worked at NVIDIA's Pune office for 6 years. Project Overview

We’re building Express AI, a SaaS platform that allows small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to easily train and deploy their own dedicated AI agents for customer service, technical support, sales, and more.

Our vision is to give SMBs the power of enterprise-grade AI without complexity. You’ll help build the core platform that powers this – including agent training interfaces, web deployment, dashboards, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable full-stack features using modern JavaScript frameworks

• Build and maintain AI agent training modules (upload docs, FAQs, tone settings)

• Integrate OpenAI, Whisper, LangChain, and other LLM APIs

• Implement user-facing dashboards for chat/voices/social/email agent monitoring

• Design multi-tenant systems with admin-level controls

• Ensure reliability and scalability of the platform as we grow

Tech Stack

Key Responsibilities

- Working closely with the Credit, Business, and Compliance team to manage and mitigate risk exposure.

- Monitoring of loan accounts, checking loan documents & timely preparing various MIS reports.

- Streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency.

- Ensure completeness of documentation in accordance with approved terms and conditions.

- Develop Risk and Operational strategy for line management, collections, underwriting, pricing etc.

Minimum Requirements

- Proven experience of minimum 5 years in progressively responsible risk and/or operations roles within the NBFC sector

- Background of underwriting, credit sanctioning, or credit policy drafting would be given a strong preference

- The candidate must be exceptional in people management, communication, and presentation skills.
