Ideal Candidate

• Strong Lead / Manager — Product Design (UI/UX) Profile
• Mandatory(Experience 1)- Must have 8+ years of product design experience with minimum 3 years managing a design team — direct reports, quality ownership, critique culture.
• Mandatory(Experience 2)- Must have hands on End-to-end ownership from problem definition and rapid prototyping through to final Figma handoff, across both web and mobile
• Mandatory(Skill 1)- Must have exceptional UI skills combined with deep mastery of UX psychology — with demonstrated ability to deliver world-class visual and interaction design.
• Mandatory(Skill 2)- Must have built or evolved a design system adopted in production code — token structure, engineering handoff, versioning, and cross-platform consistency. Maintaining a Figma component library alone is not sufficient.
• Mandatory (Leadership & Team Management): Must have hands-on experience leading and mentoring a design team — setting the quality bar, running structured design critiques, and managing delivery across parallel tracks. Someone who builds the team up, not just manages output.

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Senior AEM Backend & Edge Delivery Services (EDS) Developer to design and deliver enterprise-scale digital experience platforms. This role involves building scalable AEM backend solutions, leading AEM Cloud migrations, implementing Adobe Edge Delivery Services, and optimizing high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Build and maintain custom AEM components, templates, workflows, Sling Models, and OSGi services.
• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support headless and omnichannel content delivery.
• Architect content structures, Digital Asset Management (DAM) integrations, and content replication strategies.
• Lead end-to-end migration projects from AEM 6.5 to AEM as a Cloud Service and from AEMaaCS to Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS).
• Design, develop, and deploy production-ready EDS websites using block-based architecture.
• Create and optimize reusable block libraries using modern JavaScript and CSS.

• Machine learning engineers working in the Recommendation domain develop the functions and services of the marketplace app Mercari through the development and maintenance of machine learning systems like Recommender systems while leveraging necessary infrastructure and companywide platform tools. 
• Mercari is actively applying advanced machine learning technology to provide a more convenient, safer, and more enjoyable marketplace. Machine learning engineers use the cloud and Kubernetes to operate and improve machine learning systems.

• Experience using common machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas)
• Deep understanding of machine learning and software engineering fundamentals
• Basic knowledge and skills related to monitoring system, logging, and common operations in production environment
• Communication skills to carry out projects in collaboration with multiple teams and stakeholders

Preferred skills:

• Experience developing Recommender systems utilizing large-scale data sets
