ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer who will work under guidance to support data engineering tasks, perform basic coding, and actively learn modern data platforms and tools. The ideal candidate should have foundational SQL knowledge, basic exposure to Databricks. This role is designed for early-career professionals who are eager to grow into full data engineering responsibilities while contributing to data pipeline operations and analytical support.

Key Responsibilities-

• Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows under mentorship.
• Write basic SQL queries, transformations, and assist with Databricks notebook tasks.
• Help troubleshoot data issues and contribute to ensuring pipeline reliability.
• Work with senior engineers and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver small tasks.
• Assist in maintaining documentation, data dictionaries, and process notes.
• Learn and apply data engineering best practices, coding standards, and cloud fundamentals.
• Support basic tasks related to Power BI data preparation or integrations as needed.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Foundational SQL skills with the ability to write and understand basic queries.
• Basic exposure to Databricks, data transformation concepts, or similar data tools.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data structures, and analytical workflows.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python or Golang.

Responsibilities:

●     Design and develop websites and web applications from initial concept, site architecture, and user interface to finished deliverables.

●     Write clean, secure, test-driven, easily maintainable and modular codes adhering to the technical standards.

●     Database designing and maintenance.

●     Create and update reusable code libraries to streamline the development cycle.

●     Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications

●     Collaborate and work with front-end/mobile developers on the backend needs of projects.

●     Client communication (verbal/written) as and when required.

Required Skills:

●     Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer. Experience in CMS like Drupal and WordPress will be an added advantage.

●     Excellent knowledge of the Laravel framework and experience building factories/facades/libraries using abstract classes, interfaces, and traits.

●     Good knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL/MS SQL/PostgreSQL), database designing and query optimization techniques.

●     Good core knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and Bootstrap framework.

●     Hands-on experience in RESTful API design and development, including implementing oAuth2.0 for authentication and authorization.

●     Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

●     Excellent communication (verbal/written) skills.

What would you be required to do?

 Design and implementation of the overall web architecture

 “Pixel-perfect” implementation of our approved user interface

 Front End Development - Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript,

CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React Js, jQuery

 Design and deployment of our database

 Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability

 Design and construction of our REST API

 Integrating our front-end UI with the constructed API

 Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment

 Designing Database - Expertise in databases like MySQL, Other database like MongoDB , PostgreSQL Will be plus.

 Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.

 Overseeing and guiding the analysing, writing, building, and deployment of software.

What skills we are looking for?

 Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being up on the latest practices is a must, e.g.,

 A relevant back-end programming language experience
