About the Role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work directly at client sites across Mumbai, deploying, customizing, and supporting our AI-powered solutions. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and client relationships — you'll write/adapt code, configure AI systems on the ground, troubleshoot real-time issues, and translate technical concepts into simple language for clients. Ideal for a CSE/IT graduate who is strong in tech, genuinely curious about AI, and enjoys solving problems face-to-face with clients rather than purely behind a desk.

Key Responsibilities

-Travel to client sites across Mumbai to deploy, configure, and customize AI-based solutions

-Debug and resolve technical issues on-site, escalating complex problems to the core engineering team when needed

-Write scripts/code to integrate, adapt, or fine-tune AI tools/models for specific client use cases

-Explain technical concepts and AI capabilities clearly to non-technical stakeholders

-Gather client requirements and feedback, and relay them back to the product/engineering team

-Document deployments, issues, and solutions for future reference

Requirements

CSE / IT / Computer Engineering degree strongly preferred

Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and tools (LLMs, APIs, automation, Python-based AI tooling, etc.)

Working knowledge of at least one programming language (Python preferred)

Excellent verbal communication skills — comfortable explaining technical topics to clients

Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working independently on-site

Quick learner, adaptable to new tools/tech stacks

Willingness to travel daily within Mumbai for client visits

Position Overview: 

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer with a strong background in React.js and Node.js. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in full stack development, with a focus on building scalable web applications. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in team management and be capable of taking on leadership roles. 

 Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and Node.js 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features 

• Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support as needed

You should apply if you have: 

• 1-5 years of industry experience in design with a proven track record of solving UX problems.
• Sound understanding of UX methodology and lifecycle across significant channels and platforms.
• Customer-focused, with experience using design research methods to uncover customer insights.
• Expertise in core UX disciplines including information architecture, interaction design, application of design systems, and UI design.
• Experience working with early-stage efforts, dealing with ambiguity, and driving projects forward
• Strong collaboration skills with other UX Designers, Product Managers, Engineering, Marketing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to listen, be proactive at addressing feedback, represent and advocate for UX and users.
• Understanding of patterns, best practices, and design standards across iOS, Android, and Web.
• Hands-on experience working with design tools including Adobe suite, Sketch & Prototyping tools.
• Some basic understanding and experience with Illustrations and Motion Design.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Responsible for understanding functional and business requirements and translate them into effective code
• Provide support till deployment of code into production.
• Ownership for ensuring code optimization, problem diagnosis, and on-time delivery
• Implement solutions as per the pre-defined framework /guidelines and adherence to processes
• Finding an optimal solution for the problem statement
• Conduct peer code review.

What candidate should know about:

• Excellent hands-on experience with Node.Js, Express.Js, JavaScript
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Excellent hands-on experience with MongoDB, Mongo aggregation, MySQL
• Ability to build REST services, Authentications, MVC applications
• Excellent Object Oriented Programming skills and ability to write modular, secure, scalable, and maintainable code
• Experience with Elastic Search, Redis.
• Knowledge about AWS components (S3, EC2, Cloudfront, Redis Clusters, etc.)
• Self-learning abilities are required
• Familiarity with upcoming new technologies is a strong plus

1. Contribute to the development of Web Applications Mobile restful APIs.
2. Help scale our mobile team processes by practicing "Clean Code" principles for app architecture, branching/versioning, release train, Test Driven Development.
3. Advocate for the Web platform e.g: evaluating new frameworks, leading the technical vision at Sri Aurobindo Society
4. Deliver applications with enhanced features and capabilities, while also maintaining and continually improving turnaround time and quality
5. Mentor and lead a team of developers; Lead code reviews and team meetings
6. Keep track and reviews existing projects to identify bottlenecks, bugs, performance issues and involve the team to study and learn from existing projects.
7. Proficient in one core codebase (CodeIgnitor, Drupal, Laravel, Magento); Laravel is mandatory
8. Thoroughly test work prior to deployment into production.
9. Accurately estimate the amount of effort required to complete a task.
10. Troubleshoot and fix any issues relating to PHP programs
11. Ensure smooth operations of web processes and infrastructure
12. Take up system analysis, design, documenting responsibilities, and get it done in time. He/ she should be able to perform code analyzing and reading exercises for current and previous projects
