About the role:

We are looking for a Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work on designing and implementing computer vision models and machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance our products and contribute to advancements in AI technology, establish and lead our new vision department.

Key Qualifications:

Experience: 1-3 years in computer vision and ML, proficient in Python and frameworks .

Skills:

Good knowledge on generative AI and ability to build Agentic Systems.

Building and deploying scalable Models in any Cloud platforms.

Strong foundation in vision systems, image processing, and ML algorithms.

Adaptability: Startup and founding engineer mindset, able to innovate and lead in a fast-growing, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Familiarity with usecases related to Construction Domain.

· Experience with Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for model deployment.

· Hands-on Experience in NLP: Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) is a plus.

· Contributions to Open-Source Projects: Contributions to relevant open-source projects or machine learning competitions (e.g., Kaggle).

Organizational Overview

It is a super app to digitize India’s 50M+ sales agents where they can get access to relevant products & services, receive training through interactive videos on “how to sell, what to sell and whom to sell”, and earn money. For businesses, we help them save a huge effort in managing and training these agents and help them increase their reach to every nook and corner of the country.

India is a trust deficit market which cannot be accessed through Internet Marketing on Facebook and Google as the majority of the customers need training, push, motivation and a primer on why and how to use a product.

To solve this problem, traditional industries like BFSI, Telecom, Automobile, Real Estate etc. use 50M+ frontline sales executives to drive distribution. We believe that not just for these traditional industries but also for emerging companies in FinTech, EdTech etc these agents will play a pivotal role in accessing trust deficit customers.

They have grown to a  100,000+ agent network across India (growing 50% MoM). One Code is funded by tier1 VC’s and angels in India.

Role Overview

Summary of Role

As a part of the consumer products software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of the software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Overlook development of all consumer products in JAVA
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Focus on code maintainability and performance of application
• Provide technical advice and assists in solving programming problems
• Continuously create new and interactive features that would help to improve user experience and user engagement.
• Assist with troubleshooting of issues as needed
• Lead the design and architecture of software solutions
• Assist in developing and maintaining continuous integration pipelines

Desired Candidate Profile

Roles and responsibilities

• Develop well-designed performant and scalable applications and microservices
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code aligning to software development best practices
• Integrate data storage solutions including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
• Build integrations with 3rd party applications through apis’ to ingest and process data
• Develop state-of-the-art analytics tools to support diverse tasks ranging from ad hoc analysis to production-grade pipelines and workflows for customer applications
• Ensure security and data protection aspects within the applications
• Partner with Data Scientists and Analytics Engineers to improve the performance and reliability of advanced algorithms
• Ensure high performance and availability of distributed systems and applications
• Interact directly with client project team members and operational staff to support live customer deployments and production issues

• 4+ years of experience in developing applications using python and related technologies.
• Familiarity in data ingestion and processing libraries in python.
• Thorough understanding of REST and GRPC technologies.
• Experience in using ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries for data access.
• Experiencing in developing and hosting APIs and integration with external applications.
• Experience in building data models and repositories using relational and NoSql databases.
• Knowledge of JIRA, Bitbucket and agile methodologies.
• Good to have knowledge of AWS services like Lambda, dynamodb, kinesis and others.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
