Responsibilities:

• Create, deploy, monitor, and maintain high performance and scalable microservices in the production.
• Design/develop Restful Services, data analysis, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Take end to end ownership for complex technical projects from planning through execution.
• Build, optimize, and manage ad solution Platform for the enterprise level. 
• Perform code review and manage technical debt
• Handle release deployments and production issues

Required Skills: 

• Overall 8+ years of experience in application development using Java with creating and deploying microservices using the Spring Boot framework.
• Strong experience in Maven.
• Good experience in unit(Junit) and integration testing.
• Experience in Microservices is a must.
• Experience in designing and developing REST based services / Microservice development.
• Experience with delivering projects in an agile environment using SCRUM methodologies.
• Candidate should have good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Any one of these database Mongo, Maria, RMQ, Postgres, or other NoSQL servers
• Experience in AWS and CI/CD

Good to have:

• Experience using container management tools such as Kubernetes, Docker and Rancher.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you thrive on understanding and translating customer needs into new products and capability. You apply deep technical expertise and experience in software application layer solutions, to develop and deliver scalable design blueprints across the end-to-end software development life cycle. What you'll work on

As a Software Engineer, you will be working on development project which will be based on API transitions, API Management ,API Monetization engine (based on Java, Springboot & AWS) and high traffic transactions.

Key responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you apply deep experience and technical know-how in the Software Engineering domain with-

• 7-10 years of experience

• Design, build and maintain multiple complex software application technologies and their interaction with Telstra processes and systems

• Develop innovative software that maintains data/network security management, and leverage set processes to reduce the time between commission and production

• Authentically engage with and influence a multi-stakeholder landscape to translate customer needs into leading-edge software application products, services or systems that meet Telstra’s time, cost and quality standards 

• Collaborate with team members and key stakeholders, seeking support, direction and buy-in to gather deep insights about the challenges and opportunities of our software application technologies and platforms

• Significantly contribute to continuous improvement initiatives of our systems and processes, to help define ‘best practice’ corporate testing standards and drive improved outcomes (e.g. productivity, customer experience and/or profitability)

• Lead initiatives or components of initiatives in line with the strategic direction of your team/mission, that have a significant degree of impact to the function or cross-functionally

• Take ownership of your own actions and decisions to drive positive outcomes within your team/mission, and provide guidance to more junior engineers in order to support their development and contribution to team/mission outcomes

• Understand the fundamentals of Software Engineering, such as Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns
• Ability to write Java applications using Spring, Springboot or any other microservices frameworks
• Experience in the development of REST applications, in Java or Kotlin
• Capable of writing effective APIs
• Solid knowledge of JVM fundamentals such as classloading, memory management, garbage collection
• Demonstrated experience in platform API design and development
• Knowledge on microservice and event-driven architecture
• Experience in working with version control frameworks such as Git (preferable), SVN
•      Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB or Cassandra) & Relational Databases
• Solid understanding of TDD & Agile principles such as CI / CD, with a proven track record of implementing solutions centred around those concepts
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills

We are looking for a Java backend developer who would be working on the bleeding edge of technologies. We work primarily with a fully reactive stack powered by Spring Webflux and Reactive MongoDb Repository in AWS. Our services follow both event based approaches as well as workflow based depending on the use case.

Responsibilities

• Understand why a particular design was chosen and code accordingly
• Will have to deliver clean bug free unit tested code with minimal guidance
• Strive for continuous improvement by refactoring and applying best practices
• Learn and adapt to new technologies as necessary.
• Capable of working in both client side and server side technologies

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Must have 2-3 years experience as a software developer
• Must be proficient in Core Java and Spring/Springboot. Knowledge of Webflux is not mandatory.
• Must have developed RESTful services
• Should understand git

SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (BACKEND DEVELOPMENT):

We are looking for a Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade web applications.
You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. Java developer roles and responsibilities include managing Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

Responsibilities
• Java developer responsibilities include designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for
architectural review

Requirements
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject from renowned (IITs, NITs, BITS etc) colleges
• Excellent aptitude, algorithmic and puzzle solving skills
• Proven hands-on Software Development experience
• Proven working experience of 2+ years in Java development
• Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, Multi-Threading etc)
• Good knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Experience in the Spring Framework
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT,
Spring MVC)
• Experience with agile development
