Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Head to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the SI industry, specifically in technical support roles, and possess extensive product knowledge in server, storage, backup, networking, security, and virtualization domains. As the Technical Support Head, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of technical support professionals, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement in support processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of technical support professionals, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
2. Establish and maintain support policies, procedures, and service level agreements to ensure effective and efficient support delivery.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering, to address customer issues and provide timely resolutions.
4. Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing guidance and expertise to resolve customer challenges.
5. Develop and implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the team's performance and identify areas for improvement.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and product advancements to enhance the team's technical knowledge.
7. Foster a customer-centric culture within the support team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
8. Analyze support data and trends to identify recurring issues and proactively address them through process improvements or product enhancements.
9. Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners to resolve technical issues and ensure timely delivery of support services.
10. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on support team performance, customer satisfaction, and key metrics.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the systems integration (SI) industry, with a focus on technical support.
2. In-depth knowledge and experience with server, storage, backup, networking, security, and virtualization technologies.
3. Proven experience in managing and leading technical support teams.
4. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
6. Strong customer service orientation and a passion for delivering exceptional support experiences.
7. Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and optimize support operations.
8. Familiarity with industry-standard support tools and systems.
9. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (preferred).

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• To Maintain the required uptime for Azure Cloud and IT Infrastructure.
• To provide the earliest resolution of the reported issues, which may include but are not limited to cloud & end-user related issues.
• Configuring and managing the alerts through Nagios, which may include but is not limited to scripting knowledge.
• Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Managing Firewalls and Domain Controllers.

Requirements

• Having relevant experience of 3+ yrs.
• Sound knowledge of Linux & Windows System administration
• Good Hands-on experience on Azure/AWS ( Willing to work on Azure only)
• Must be an expert in at least one of OpenStack, Cloudify, SaltStack, Rundeck, Ansible
• Good knowledge of networking, firewall & domain controller
• Basic knowledge of DevOps/Scripting
• Should be willing to work in rotational day shifts and WFO
• Flexibility to be able to work in a 24/7/7 environment

Experience:- Overall 10 to 12 years of experience of which atleast 5 to 7 years’ experience should be in Information Security. Mandatory is 5 to 7 years’ experience in Information security and with one full end to end implementation experience.

Requirements: -

1. Mandatory - ISO 27001:2013 lead implementor certified
2. Mandatory - ISO 27001:2013 lead auditor certified (but if it is a good candidate, we can still consider)
3. Good to have – CISA, CISM, Risk management certification, Privacy certifications.
4. Mandatory - Atleast one end to end implementation experience of ISO 27001 standard. The candidate should have a good implementation knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27002 standards and is required to implement the ISO requirements and run the ISMS program for multiple countries.
5. This immediate requirement is for implementing the ISMS program for our Canadian office location. The candidate should be willing to work from Bengaluru in EST time zone during this implementation phase whenever required.
6. Good documentation skills.
7. Develop, implement, maintain, review and continually improve Information Security policies.
8. Good understanding and knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory requirements as relevant to information security.
9. Manage and maintain a risk register / risk database along with risk treatment plans.

Responsibilities :

• Determine the scope based on requirements, designing and building security components, and testing efforts, including stating the scope of work, calculating the resources, required in delivering the services and advising the senior system engineer preparing the quotation
• Install and configure services as per the approved implementation plan
• Carry out technology, professional and maintenance support services as per scope within the stipulated duration/ timeline.
• Provide level 1/2 support (basic hardware break-fix & troubleshooting of hardware and software issues) for installed services
• Provide technical deliverables such as high-level design documents, user acceptance test (UAT) doc and as-built documentation
• Provide outstanding quality of service and meet predefined customer service level agreements (SLAs)
• Undergo technical training and obtain technical certifications that are required to meet suppliers' mandatory technical requirements
• Conduct knowledge transfer training (where required)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience :

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Expertise on any two firewalls Specially - Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, WAF
• Strong technical knowledge on the assigned solution domain/product
• Expertise in enterprise security products implementation, migration and support.
• Implements security solutions infrastructure and/or application including the design, configuration, development, testing and deployment of security-related technologies such as Firewalls, WAF, LB , IDS/IP
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric attitude; oral and written communication skills
• Strong attention to technical details, priority management and planning skills
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Results-oriented
• Security Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE Security or CCSA/CCSE/CCCP/PCNSE/Fortinet NSE1/2/3/4 are desirable

• Responsible for technical direction at the platform solutions level. Is able to weigh the pros and cons of various solutions and credibly argue for the best path
