Responsibilities:

• Develop user-facing features such as web apps and landing portals.
• Ensure the feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them technically.
• Create reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Contribute to the entire implementation process, including defining improvements based on business needs and architectural enhancements.
• Promote coding, testing, and deployment of best practices through research and demonstration.
• Review frameworks and design principles for suitability in the project context.
• Demonstrate the ability to identify opportunities, lay out rational plans, and see them through to completion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 10+ years of software product development experience.
• Proficiency in React, Django, Pandas, GitHub, AWS, and JavaScript, Python
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and designing REST APIs.
• Experience with scalable interactive web applications.
• Understanding of software design constructs and implementation.
• Familiarity with ORM libraries and Test-Driven Development.
• Exposure to the Finance domain is preferred.
• Knowledge of HTML5, LESS/CSS3, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Expertise in JavaScript fundamentals and front-end/back-end technologies.

Nice to Have:

• Strong knowledge of website security and common vulnerabilities.
• Exposure to financial capital markets and instruments.

Responsibilities:

Essential Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including best practices).
•  Experience with WordPress development:
•  Custom theme development or experience with popular page builders like Elementor,       Divi, etc.
• Plugin customization.
• Child theme creation.
• Knowledge of responsive web design principles for optimal viewing across devices.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Design Skills:

•  Creativity and ability to design layouts from scratch.
• Ability to create a user-friendly and visually appealing information flow for websites.
•  Understanding of design principles (composition, color theory, typography).

Soft Skills:

•   Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
•   Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
•   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Beneficial:

•  Basic understanding of PHP (especially for theme customization).
• Experience with integrating APIs into WordPress websites.
•  Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Proficiency In design software like Photoshop and Illustrator (for creating graphics and layouts).

Bonus:

Familiarity with any GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) models (knowledge of using AI for web design would be a plus).

Note:

While experience with a specific page builder (Elementor, etc.) is preferred, we are open to candidates with strong development skills who can learn a new platform quickly. We value a passion for web design and a willingness to learn and grow.
