TELECOM ENGINEER

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Proven experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role at a asset manager or financial firm. 
• Strong Understanding of various business concepts related to buy side financial firms. Understanding of Private Markets (Private Credit, Private Equity, Real Estate, Alternatives) is required. 
• Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques (e.g., ER modeling, dimensional modeling). 
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL). 
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in data warehousing and business intelligence. 
• Knowledge of data governance practices. 
• Certification in data modeling or related fields.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business requirements. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders in finance, operations, risk, legal, compliance and front offices to gather and analyze data requirements. 
• Ensure data models adhere to best practices for data integrity, performance, and security. 
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, including data dictionaries and metadata. 
• Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues. 
• Conduct detailed meetings and discussions with business to translate broad business functionality requirements into data concepts, data models and data products.

Key Responsibilities:

 Design, develop, and maintain WinForms applications.

 Knowledge of .NET languages including C#, & Winforms is Mandatory.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new

features.

 Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using C# and ASP.NET.

 Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, including writing complex

queries and stored procedures.

 Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.

 Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

 Ensure application security, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Work with product managers to find solutions to critical problems, face internal customers, and create requirements.
• Triage and fix critical issues that arise in the field that affect our core product.
• Manage git repositories, pull requests, and review code.
• Communicate properly & promptly with all stakeholders.
• Build a proof-of-concept for new products from scratch.
• Optimize, clean up, and comment on the existing codebase.

Requirements:

• Must have 5-8 years of hands-on engineering experience.
• Must be an expert in JavaScript/Typescript with ES6+ features, Node.js, ReactJS, and Redux
• Must be an expert in HTML5 CSS3 SASS, and Webpack.
• You are proficient with RESTful API design and implementation using Node.js.0
• Proficiency in relational (MySQL, Cloud Spanner etc. ) and non-relational (MongoDB, Google Cloud Firestore etc. ) databases.
• Must be an expert in data structure and creating highly optimized algorithms.
• Should have a working knowledge of GCP services like App Engine, CloudSQL, Compute Engine etc.

Your work at Finin:
As our primary android developer , you are expected to

1. Build a light-weight, low latent Android applications with limited or no dependency on third-party modules.
2. Build application logic & develop user facing features in Kotlin.
3. Build reusable components & front-end libraries for future use, as and wherever needed.
4. Translate designs & wireframes into high-quality code.
5. Define front-end architecture, document, estimate scope, & deliver on time.
6. Plan for new technology insertion & trade-offs in development.

Candidate profile:

1. At least 4 years of professional experience building native projects for Android.
