Job Title: Python AI/ML Engineer

Location: Pune/Navi Mumbai (Hybrid)

Salary range- 13 -26 LPA

As an AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing core AI functionalities to drive value throughout the consulting lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include innovating information extraction, synthesis, and analysis of both structured and unstructured data to derive valuable quantitative insights.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and own AI functionalities across the lifecycle, from initial proof of concept to production-ready pipelines.
• Research and experiment with new and emerging AI capabilities to establish performance metrics and suitability for proof of concept.
• Enhance developed pipelines into production-level modules for seamless integration into user experiences.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure seamless deployment and functionality of AI solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve AI capabilities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data science, specializing in building and deploying AI/ML applications.
• Proficiency in Python is a must, along with experience in ML libraries like Scikit-Learn and SQL.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as Azure and vector databases like pinecone is preferred.
• Deep understanding of statistical and machine learning models, including data preparation, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and performance evaluation.
• Experience in processing unstructured natural language data and text extraction.
• Knowledge of NLP techniques, including text processing, TF-IDF, semantic parsing, and sentiment analysis, is a plus.
• Previous exposure to Generative AI and large language models will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently with guidance.
• An advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics is preferred.

• Must have hands-on experience in Java, Front end technologies like Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular, AWS, Modular software development, multi-tenant architecture and highly scalable systems and Server Operating systems internals, benchmarking and performance tuning (Linux & Windows)

• Work experience as a Python Developer

• Sourcing for the region (Maharashtra and Gujarat)

• Building and implementing processes to increase the overall efficiency and reliability of the region
• Participating in cross-functional projects for high priority initiatives and bringing process and data- driven focused approach to support the organization's goals

• Collaborating closely with stakeholders like Operations, Finance, Product, Sales and New initiatives with the objective of driving stakeholder success

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduates from Tier 1/2 Engineering colleges/Post Graduate from Tier 1/2 Management colleges with good academic performance
• 4-8 years of frontline Operation/sourcing/channel management experience or P&L Management
• Strong leadership qualities to lead a large geographically spread team
• Ability to manage conflicts and good stakeholder management skills
• Multi-tasking capabilities and inter departmental coordination
• Product first mindset and relevant experience is a useful plus
• Experience in channel management in B2C space will be very useful    

We are looking for applicants with a strong background in Analytics and Data mining (Web, Social and Big data), Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition, Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics, Statistical Modelling and Inferencing, Information Retrieval, Large Scale Distributed Systems and Cloud Computing, Econometrics and Quantitative Marketing, Applied Game Theory and Mechanism Design, Operations Research and Optimization, Human Computer Interaction and Information Visualization. Applicants with a background in other quantitative areas are also encouraged to apply.
